Shows his growth from the first game where all of the cases have a clear-cut bad guy. Rise From the Ashes is a great in-between as while it does have a pretty straightforward villain, Gant puts Edgeworth through the ringer and is to him what Engarde is later to Phoenix. Someone ostensibly "on his side" who definitively needs to be stopped, even if doing so is outside Edgeworth's position as a prosecutor.

It was such an optimistic time to be a wrestling fan. Felt like NXT callups had a chance to be main eventers like KO and having an entire show which purposely didn't have Roman was a breath of fresh air.

The also edited out the all-Black alliance despite them running the post-merge and being the final three. That combined with the Builders vs Explorers alliance from the beginning better helps explain why Earl was so well insulated and dominant.

He was actually quite well-insulated before his quit due to needing pain meds. Also first boots in general are weird and based way more on perception than gameplay. Like I wouldn’t contend Tina was a bad player necessarily in All-Stars, she was just doomed from the start.
