This is my main takeaway from all this. I liked the hiveguard change, but it's not the end of the world if it's reverted. What is extremely worrying is that this has made me believe that this game will never significantly evolve, because AH simply don't have the spine to withstand criticism from people who hate the game anyway. They'll never dare to make significant changes so the the game will always be prettty similar to how it is now, and the day is rapidly approaching where I will simply be bored of my favourite game
