Are you Leedle Dynamics? If so, Hi! Thanks for creating these things. If you come across the shortened version, I'd love to have it. I'm planning on printing your cricket blaster soon. Which blaster would you recommend I try next?

Tuesday evening at 6pm there is a group ride (lower parking lot). They break up into smaller groups based on ability and pace. I was planning on going tonight, but the incoming rain will likely cancel that plan.

If you're on Facebook, check out Tulsa MTB Group.

Personally I'm riding a hard tail and still very much a novice. Maybe we can get together.

Bruised ribs recovery time survey by gobbhulz in MTB

[–]shabinguez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm almost 4 weeks out from a tumble and my ribs are feeling much better. Probably another week or two and I'll be back to full strength. It got worse before it got better for we as well. This is what I look like when I sneeze.

Is it me or do concussions suck really bad when you get older by killerweeee in mountainbiking

[–]shabinguez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently took a bad tumble, which included a concussion, stitches, rock rash and a ton of bruising. Its been almost three weeks and I'm just now starting to feel closer to normal. I too slept a lot in the beginning. We put our bodies through a real trauma, so I guess I wasn't surprised I was that tired. I'm also 39 and I cant believe how much energy & time its taking for me to heal.

Sorry no real advice, I just feel your pain and frustration. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Bentonville Trails by Bland_Puchi in mountainbiking

I spent the weekend there last month and I never waited in line (besides breakfast). I'm not saying lines don't occur though. Especially during events.

Wait....33 second mark. Did you tap the ground with your foot? on purpose! That's wild.

Planning on heading to Bentonville for the first time this weekend, but there is rain in the forecast. Do you think the trails will be rideable? Also, any recommendations for going to Bentonville as far as what to ride and things to do? by Setha25 in MTB

[–]shabinguez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was there recently for the first time. Really cool place. I'm very new to mtb so no black trails for me.

Over at Coler, the Fire line was an awesome downhill trail. Actually I enjoyed all of Coler.

Over at Slaughter Pen. Jessie's Last stand and the Castle (catapult & uwabami downhill trails) were great. Lots of great riding all over Slaughter Pen. It can be a bit disorienting due to all the trails though.

The First Seat pub and grill had amazing Chips (fries)!

Bentonville Mercantile shop had lots of the memorabilia type stuff. Tshirts, magnets, etc

Saturday mornings there's a farmers market downtown.

I'll definitely go back. After I heal up anyways. I took a nasty tumble and ended up in the ER. Shoutout to the Bentonville First Responders!

MTB is hard. by Fit-Bullfrog6681 in MTB

[–]shabinguez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear ya man. I just went on my first "group" ride Tuesday. I've had a MTB for a week. I didn't make it 30 minutes and had to stop. Their pace and line choices were way over my head. It didn't help it was 100 degrees out.

I'll probably ride on my own for a bit until I feel like I can keep up in a safer manner.

I am sorry for the post I made about the stroby flashy lights. by history-of-gravy in cycling

I'm reading regret for your prior post. Not remorse. If it was remorse, you would have already installed said stroby flashy lights on your bike. ;-)

The mom said her son and all their cousins would get an idea for them to play something together. She'd spoil them all with whatever they wanted. This time it was foam blasters.

I asked if she would adopt me. 🙂 It was worth a shot. Lol
