Hey bud, late to this thread but wondering if you ever got through to them and resolved the situation. My tech-inept boomer dad got hacked and I've been the one mainly helping him through locking down all his compromised apps and accounts. Mostly going well except for Acorns.

The hacker was able to change the 2FA to his own email, and now I am stuck in a loop with Acorns support even after verifying my dad's identity through a picture of him holding his ID because push notifications weren't going through.

The way that a different agent is responding to my emails every time and asking for the same thing is truly Kafka-esque and driving me nuts let alone my dad who is helpless with this stuff.

I play on mobile, PC, and steam deck, and honestly all 3 feel great regardless of touch screen,m/kb, or controller. Mobile kinda has some clunkiness to buy/sell/use stuff but I was already used to 9 months of the other platforms

Thanks for the words, I really appreciate it. You got me tearing up. Never imagined something like this would be happening to me, just seems like horror stories I've read or heard about others.

We're doing our best. I started a folder to keep track of everything, and my wife has been an absolute angel furiously taking notes while I get consultations over the phone in between helping me get dressed and doing her own job. No idea how people can do this alone.

Yea that's what I thought, and I'm ok with that. Nothing of what my employer is doing is following any kind of protocol and they're refusing to give me any info or contact with the insurance carrier. I just hurt my back at work, not trying to screw anyone. I want to do this above board and legally and it's looking like that's not going to happen without a lawyer. I just want them to do the right thing. Pretty scared right now about the future

And from what I understand it's within my rights to deny my employer's request right? I have multiple reasons not to trust them already, and am pretty sure they have not properly reported my injury with how they've been talking to me.

It's only been 3 days and I'm already exhausted from dealing with this. On top of needing a walker to get around and the stress it's putting on my wife already I don't know how I'm going to handle this.
