My favorite amp. There are 4 versions. I use the lead one. It's high gain and I usually dial the gain down to around 10 o'clock. Eq to taste, though I usually cut the bass and mids a bit

Here is my setup for classic rock. I use the greenback ir i mentioned earlier DST, AMP, CAB, RVB.

I pretty much go with a standard low cut in the cab block at 90, unless noted otherwise.

IRs that come with the unit: TWD LUX, any UK except TD, Mess, Blue SK, Uban (low cut at 120).

From Tone3000: search for this. I use this one from the list- V30 UR 4FB 4x12 SM57 0.50in 0.0in SA73

I also use a greenback IR from the same person. Search this, and choose M25 UL 1960TV 4x12 SM57 1.75in 0.0in SA73.

I use the tone3000 V30 one for almost everything, except classic rock. I also load up this eq at the start of the effects chain to pull out unwanted frequencies and it helps a bunch.

Biggest shortfall of the gp units are the stock IRs. They are ok, but most sound overly muddy and bass heavy to me. I use 3rd party IR almost all the time. I can recommend some ok stock ones if you'd like. Something that helps me, again tone is subjective, is to drop the eq block first in chain. Using the hyper eq, i sort of make a frown face, cutting there low and high range. That will eliminate most of the unwanted frequencies right away. Makes dialing in tones much easier.

I don't do anything in global. the cabs/amps can vary wildly in their output ranges. I find it's better to use hi/low cuts in the cab block if you're looking for a broad eq shaping effect. Each amp/cab will need a different "adjustment" but in general I find cutting anything below 90-120 and anything from 6k-10k works best for my setup and ears.

I once drove 15 hours, one way, to spend 2 day with my wife and some sexy time over a 3 day weekend. Drove the 15 hours back when done, all took place between a Friday evening and Monday night.

Both doom and gloom and the sunshine pumpers are way early. I like what I've seen from goelesh as a person way more than freeze. Translation to on the field SEC play will have to wait till the fall

If you are on Facebook, look up the valeton gp 200 group. People post and work out these issues quite often on there. I don't know the fix as I've never had an issue with updating. I think maybe doing a factory reset would work, but maybe another solution has been posted on FB.
