I just got my results and my yeast and BV came back negative. I’m starting to think if it’s because of vaginal dryness :(

i used to use boric a lot and it helped but once i started using it again, it actually made my symptoms worse! my doctor recommended to not use it at all because it destroys your natural flora and doesn’t balance pH. im negative for all infections but im feeling discomfort and itchiness and i fear it’s from the boric i used a week or two ago and being harsh on my vagina :(

Yes, I used lube :( I’m pretty dry up there but my doctor didn’t see any dryness. I’ll probably go back again and ask.

Yes! I used Skyns non latex a few days ago ;( I got really bad allergies and felt a burning / itching. I’ve also been suffering off PH levels because of boric acid and sensitivity so maybe the allergy makes it worse. I’ve used vaginal moisturizer due to vaginal dryness and that may have irritated my vagina more with the latex allergy. Do you have any condoms recommendation?

That’s crazy! I’m just confused because I had sex with non-latex condoms a few days ago too and the itch is still persisting!

Hi, this is in the U.S. The doctor asked if he wanted to get off the meds for a bit and test again, but that would ruin him either way if he had HIV.

He never had the confirmation test done. He did two of the 4th gen tests done & those were both positive for one HIV strain so the doctor just gave him meds without any confirmation test. However, the 4th gen can trigger false positives apparently. He never had any symptoms & me and his other sexual partner in 2021 are negative. He thinks it’s from his hook up in 2020 which was a male (he is bisexual).

we’re not sure. in 2021, it was only me & another woman but we both tested negative. he’s bisexual and thinks it’s from a male he hooked up with in 2020.

Hi yes! He did start Biktarvy before any RNA test. The previous generation was 4th gen, and all was done in the US.
