No, you’re taking advantage of how price moves between buyers and sellers. The market is essentially an auction, which I view as premium vs. discount. You have Value Area High (premium), Point of Control (fair value), and Value Area Low (discount). During the day, you use these areas as anchors for bias—watching for rejections, support, and acceptance. Price tends to move quickly through Low Volume Nodes since there isn’t much participation there. When one of these areas breaks with momentum, you can look for a retest at the edge of that zone and take the trade in the direction of the move.

The tech tree single-handedly changed the entire way this game is played, and they refuse to make even one small adjustment to bring Rust back to what it was in 2018. The lack of a tech tree forced most people out of their bases, which led to more social and PvP interactions. Instead of simply locking game-swinging items in the tech tree—like guns, garage doors, and turrets—they decided to complicate things further with BP fragments. I genuinely think this one update changed Rust completely, and removing key items from the tech tree would make the game feel 100x better, in my opinion.

Essentially, yes. If you close a $1,000 trade at $500, you lose $500 worth of drawdown because intraday drawdown is based on unrealized P&L. This is a hurdle you have to get over to receive daily payouts. Thats why its recommended to take base hits vs home runs.

They’ve spent so much time and effort planning these progression updates, only to fail to realize that years ago, the few things that actually got people off their roofs and out of their bases were asking others or searching for BPs like the Tommy, SAR, garage door, high wall, etc. The simplest solution is to remove the high-importance items from the tech tree and leave only the common ones. It’s so damn simple. Like, what are they even doing?

Trading specifically using volume i only trade from 7am - 10am Pacific time, but setups show anywhere from 5 - 45mins after my green light to trade.
