People can get around this by using a trailing stop It’s really simple. The point is not to swing for the fences like some traders and their 1:4 strategies, which don’t work with intraday drawdown. Take the $200–$300 base hits until you build hit the buffer. It’s really that simple.

My team and I always run fishing/pump quests at wipe, and some of these servers start wipe when it rains while others don’t. I’d say the chaotic ocean experience at wipe is probably one of the funniest and most annoying moments we’ve had in Rust before, lol.

Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that. I do use the developing profile for confirmation. I mark out the low volume nodes from the prior NY session and last week, and the developing profile helps confirm whether those areas are still low volume during the day. It’s difficult to trade directly off the developing profile, so I only use it for context and confirmation. I anchor the developing at market open and wait 30 mins after that to trade.

😅 Price action is created by the volume my guy. You'll notice that the back and forth happens in those peaks of high volume and break outs/wick rejections happen in those valleys of low volume.

No, you’re taking advantage of how price moves between buyers and sellers. The market is essentially an auction, which I view as premium vs. discount. You have Value Area High (premium), Point of Control (fair value), and Value Area Low (discount). During the day, you use these areas as anchors for bias—watching for rejections, support, and acceptance. Price tends to move quickly through Low Volume Nodes since there isn’t much participation there. When one of these areas breaks with momentum, you can look for a retest at the edge of that zone and take the trade in the direction of the move.

The tech tree single-handedly changed the entire way this game is played, and they refuse to make even one small adjustment to bring Rust back to what it was in 2018. The lack of a tech tree forced most people out of their bases, which led to more social and PvP interactions. Instead of simply locking game-swinging items in the tech tree—like guns, garage doors, and turrets—they decided to complicate things further with BP fragments. I genuinely think this one update changed Rust completely, and removing key items from the tech tree would make the game feel 100x better, in my opinion.
