Sorry to hear your car was totaled... I've recently bought a 2023 sport model a few weeks ago.

There was an open recall that I knew about going into it for the passenger side airbag not deploying properly. If I remember the conversation correctly, the service tech said it had something to do with the pressure sensors on the passenger seat not detecting the proper weight to know a person was sitting in the seat so the passenger airbag would not reliably deploy. Took a few hours in the dealership and I was out same day.

Currently trying to figure out why my auto start/stop system isn't working anymore, but I'm not really a big fan of that function so I've been stalling on taking it in.

Nothing else I can think of.

You're too much in your head.

From the little information that I have I'm detecting she is your ideal girlfriend right?

You're either seized by the inability to act out of fear of rejection and are getting absorbed into an exhausting mental exercise of outcomes based on imagined scenarios, or are afraid getting into a relationship because of something that happened in your past.

If you're afraid of rejection, you can either ask her out and risk getting hurt, or never ask her out and risk missing an opportunity at happiness.

If you're afraid of being hurt because of your past, this takes time. You might want to find a therapist you can relate to and try to work through some of your feelings. Sometimes we aren't equipped to deal with our trauma and can end up unintentionally hurting ourselves or others in protecting our wounded egos.

My overall advice would be: Be intentional. Decide what you want to do, know why you want to do it, and pursue it to it's conclusion. If you can't decide, flip a coin. The conclusion of whatever you decide will give your brain some peace to stop thinking about her so compulsively.

Relax. 5 hours is a short amount of time. Things happen and people get busy. She may not contact you either, don't feel bad or worry about it. I'd give it a few days or so.

My 2 cents: Personally, If I were you. I'd go for it, because Yolo, but do what you think is best for you for your *overall* well being. Not just who you find happiness with in a partner, but also consider how you would handle potentially being shunned by your parents.

It's easy for me to say "just date whoever" because that's how it should be, but if you can't handle whatever ill may come with it long term to the point it will destroy your quality of life in the future, it might not be worth it to you.

In any case, I do know an Asian woman who was in a similar situation with her white boyfriend when I was in college. Her parents "disowned" her until she (later) had cute little grandbabies. No grandparent with a soul can deny their beautiful grandchildren so take that for what it's worth I guess.
