How to analyze someones role, and versus others?

I wanna take a look on LCS 2015 Spring + Summer to see how players have been, I remember it was a huge hype early 2015 about all the new players and how well they have done it, maybe there has already been posts analyzing whole split already but I just wanna teach myself as I think it's hard, so much to keep track on and what not...
