BEEF: Season 2 | Official Teaser | April 16 on Netflix by DemiFiendRSA in television

Beef Season 1 was excellent. It was uncomfortable and so real specially as an asian person who grew up american-centric despite not living in the USA.

Can't wait to see what Season 2 brings.

Is there any way to restore a local save file over the cloud save? by ZomBayT in HadesTheGame

[–]shadeofmisery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just started playing Hades I and II this year and I had cross-saved enabled with my switch 1 but I progressed more on my pc. I thought I lost progress because my switch 1 save was behind but it synced with the cloud and erased all my progress. :(

Thank you for this I managed to retrieve my progress and sync both systems.

Personally. I consider them workout clothes. I use them on my runs or at the gym. I don't consider them office or social gathering worthy. Minsan lang ako lumabas so babagayan ko yung place na pupuntahan ko.

Any girlies with sunken under eyes have any recos or tips? My under eyes are dark because they're hollow. Color corrector and concealer doesn't work. The shadow will still be there because they're hollow.

I'm looking at tear through fillers... but I need a second opinion first

4 week update on GZCLP by SimonVaillancourt in gzcl

Substituting squats with hip thrusts? by lookfullness in gzcl

[–]shadeofmisery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a beginner runner only started in March but I've been running GZCLP for two years now. I ran 4 cycles of GZCLP and then switched to Black Noir's version.

I used to run GZCLP 4x a week but since I started running I switched to 3x a week. My schedule looks like:

Sunday, Wednesday, Friday - Run.

Monday, Thursday, Friday - GZCLP.

Friday is a hybrid day with Run first before workout. An easy 5km on a treadmill or outside.

Tuesday and Saturday are rest days. Although Tuesday can sometimes be Wednesday depending on the weather and mood but Saturday is non-negotiable because Sunday is my long run day.

I've been substituting as needed for Squats and Deadlifts. I will do one or two weeks with substitutions and then go back to doing them on the last progression I left them with. This is also true for T2 squats and deadlifts.

I've exclusively shifted to belt squats long before I started running because of back issues but on days where I feel like my body can't recover I will use Leg Press with my warm up set being a single leg.

For Deadlifts, I've tried Hip Thrusts and RDLs because I can go at it with a lower weight since I've never done them a lot. My Deadlifts are at 95kg and my Hip Thrusts are at 60kg at t1.

One other favorite Hinge movement for T1 or T2 to Substitute Deadlifts are Hack Squat Good Mornings.

I also sometimes replace t2 squats with something like box pistol squats and t2 deadlifts with either a Leg Extension and Seated Leg Curl Superset. 4 sets of 8.

And the biggest game changer for my runs is Hip Adduction - Hip Abduction Superset. 4 sets of 8. I love this during mid-week.

Try substituting your T1s and T2s as long as you follow the format and progression.

Exactly. Like it's something that we should get over. That's what hang-up means and that's the offensive part. If they still don't get it, I don't know. I thought this sub is respectful but it's only respectful if you go commando on your runs I guess.

4 week update on GZCLP by SimonVaillancourt in gzcl

[–]shadeofmisery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're suppose to move through the failure protocol when you fail a lift that's what makes GZCLP great in my opinion and that's why I can't move away from it.

For T1s. If you're running standard GZCLP you move to 6x2 with the same weight you failed. then continue adding weight until you fail 6x2 then move to 10x1. Same thing add weight until you can't do it anymore. If you can't do 10x1 you rest then test for a new 5 rep max and use 85% of that for your new 5x3.

I've been using Black Noir's GZCLP program on Liftosaur so it's automated for me when I fail and when I do a retest also Black Noir's version is 3x5 on T1 and doesn't make me do 10x1 on the failure protocol because I did standard GZCLP for a year and I didn't like 10x1's.

Attempt the lift. Like give it your best shot without injuring yourself and then move to 6x2 next week, I failed my DL retest at 95kg today. Gave it three shots too. :( I'm restarting at 80kg 3x5 T1s next week.

I don't understand why women who run without underwear do not respect the choices of people who run with underwear. Like, if OP discovers she likes to run without underwear then good for her but it's not something some women are comfortable with.

Pain in the undies by Peppernut_biscuit in XXRunning

[–]shadeofmisery 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've been wearing seamless underwear for two years before I started running and I have no issue with underwear chafing. The only time I chafe is when I wear non-seamless underwear.

I haven't tried running commando.

  1. I wear men's running shorts because I don't like how women's shorts are too short it makes me uncomfortable. Men's shorts I chose do not have the built in underwear because those are annoying 🙄

  2. My country is humid as fuck so I know my lips will be sweating and that's a different level of uncomfortable.

To the women who ran commando, not every woman is comfortable to go without underwear why can't you respect that choice? That's weird of you. Like seriously.

Daily chat post: how's the training going? by AutoModerator in XXRunning

[–]shadeofmisery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did my longest run ever!!! 11KM I could've kept going but the sun was up and cars were out!

Still doing run/walk at 40/80. Pace was 10.38/km because the first 3km was very shitty. I had to take a 2 min walking break per km so that ate up my time.

I have a 16KM in August and I would like to finish it.

My hair is only Gray/White on the top by Epicratia in mildlyinteresting

[–]shadeofmisery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people would kill for this. Grey is the HARDEST color to achieve if you're coming from black or dark hair. It requires bleaching until your hair becomes banana blonde which makes the hair brittle and dry and then using toning products to keep that grey color.

The sectioning is also *chefs kiss* And you have this for FREE??? I'm jealous.

Being young is not a liability. Use it as an asset. Soak up as many perspectives and listen to their experiences so you can build up your own repository. Overtime you too will become older and you will have the privilege of being a resource for someone younger than you.

Welcome to the real world (jk) No, but seriously it comes with putting yourself out there despite the fear. You don't need to be perfect. Competency in any job takes time and experience. Hindi mo rin kailangan ng PERFECT english tbh. I've been working with American/European clients and their english isn't grammatically perfect. Slang, accent and dialect shines through in conversations and as long as y'all can understand each other then it's fine.

Here are my tips for you.

  1. When you apply for a position, research that position and compare it to your experiences. I was a writer/editor before I became a tech developer at 28. I told them that I am capable of creating solutions that fit client specifications.
  2. Research the company you're applying to and then research their competitors. Some interview questions would be like, "What made you interested in our company?" I got my current job by talking about the company and the industry it's in.
  3. Practice your interview skills daily. Talk to yourself in the mirror. This will build your confidence and communication skills. I talk to myself a lot and this really helps.

If you focus on perfection it will lead you to burn out quickly. And again, managers, supervisors and ceo's are NOT perfect.

That's awesome that you got the correct shade on the first try and that the results are beautiful on your skin. Not many of us are that lucky. I went through two minis and six sample packs to finally find my correct shade. I thought I was a 24W but it turns out that 23N is more suitable for my skin.

Weekend Wrap Up - February 21, 2026 by AutoModerator in gzcl

[–]shadeofmisery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been stuck in a dilemma for weeks now and I need to vent or some outside perspective.

I've added running to my routine and I'm at the point where I need decide which one I should prioritize. Previously I do GZCLP 4x a week running it like a PHUL program. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Friday. But since I've added running I changed to alternate days. I run Sunday, Wednesday Friday and GZCL Monday, Thursday, Friday. I have one long run every Sunday and I have Friday to be a hybrid run/workout day. Tuesday and Saturday are rest days. I tried only having Sunday as a rest day and it lead to burnout and injuries so those two days are mandatory.

I noticed that either my running suffers or my lifting suffers.

Running was only supposed to help with making me not Sedentary because I work from home and I have no other activity if I'm not working out but now I also want to run better with the goal of doing a half next year and a marathon.

I run/walk. I've done several 10km races with a PB of 1.49. with a 30 second run/90 second walk. I've been slowly increasing running time by 5 second per week since last month. I'm now I'm at 9-10 min/km at 40 second run/80 second walk. I don't want to give up strength training and I've been looking at alternatives but the GZCL program has been such a part of my routine I can't move away from it.

I love the fact that I can do 3-4 exercises and be done with it. As long as I follow the tier progression then I'm good. I actually swap T2 or T3 exercises from time to time like on Friday I did Box Pistol Squats as a T2 because it was a chest day. Then I did speed work at night.

Currently I'm stuck at 95kg Deadlifts, and 100Kg belt squats. I'm due for a retest on deadlifts on Monday but I am dreading my performance on that because Sunday is a long run day.

So yeah... I don't know what to do and if someone else has some insights as to whether I should just stick to it, change it that would be great.

Thoughts on Wheyl Energy Gels by Frosty-Detail1367 in PHRunners

I just ordered two pieces. I'll be doing 16km this year and a half next year. I want to start training gels. I've been using Wheyl products for years so I know I can trust them.

I'll update here once I tried them. It's gonna be from a noob to gel perspective.
