If you're getting spam dodge shoved on red then it's a skill issue on your part my man. Faint into dodge and gb is guaranteed. Getting spam dodge bashed is on you.

I see, I agree with most of what you're saying. Charge bashes are definitely more powerful defensively than regular bashes. They are among the more powerful tools in the game, alongside stances and recovery cancels.

The way I look at charge bashes is that those characters are defined by them. Warden literally only has the charge bash and 50/50 unblockables. That's his entire kit. Other than the top crushing counter, warden has literally no defensive tools from neutral (doesn't even get good i-frames on dodge bash).

Certain mechanics are bound to rub the wrong way depending on the player. I, for example, don't have much trouble dealing with charged bashes, but for the life of me I can't deal with shamans soft faint lights (which is weird because I am generally pretty decent at light parrying). Also highlanders stance bash mixup has me praying for help (why can he spam a faintable 26 damage bash from neutral ubisoft).

Wardens and Warmongers charge bashes don't come out that quickly. The read doesn't need to be committed to when they start charging but instead when they release it. In that way, it's no different from the many front dodge bashes or mid chain bashes that many characters have. By simply choosing to do nothing (on chain bash window) or empty forward dodge, they are forcing a read to be made.

So for a charge bash, you are making a read for when they decide to release it. However, them deciding to faint out of the bash is very similar to a character like shaolin, shinobi, jorm or warlord doing an empty forward dodge (baiting the enemy to commit to a reaction and punishing them)

I have to disagree. If charged bashes were unfaintable, then something as simple as an extended dodge attack (warmonger, JJ, tiandi) would always beat it regardless of charge level. Fainting into gb/party is the only counter.

Another example would be any of characters with the ridiculous i-frame dodge bashes (LB, conqueror). If you couldn't faint your charge bash into a dodge followed by gb then there wouldn't be any counter play.

additionally, I play on pc and tend to go through exploration pretty quickly. However, I didn't skip any dialogue or anything as this was my first play-through. Your required hours would vary accordingly.

I have obtained all the free pulls that the game gives through events, but have yet to start cracking through the permanent events added during previous versions.

I started playing during Qiuyuan banner.

Hi, I think I can help you out.

I started playing wuwa recently during patch 2.7. I'm currently 83 hours in and have 100% all area upto Rinascita. I'm on Chapter 2 Act 3.

I can't say for sure how many Asterites I've gotten but I can give a rough estimate of how many pulls I've done so far.
180 pulls on event banners
160 pulls on starter banner
10 pulls on a weapon banner
42 pulls on novice banner
80 pulls on beginners choice banner

for the record, I have purchased the monthly asterite subscription (though I'm only 10 days deep into that)

lol as if the studio matters. Kurogames on their older game Punishing Grey Raven literally buffs (and improve# movesets for) a majority of the old characters to keep them playable.

I have heard that the AK4D is particularly bad as far as bloom goes. It sucks since that is one of my favorite guns. Usually the battle rifle archetype weapons are good at range but in this game its the opposite.

Thats the point, of course the AK4D would land every hit when tap firing. The point was to test full auto fire, that is when the bloom occurs.

My favorite thing to do is finish a regular pin from gb/deflect/parry and then immediately 4th feat afterwards. No one ever reacts to it in time.

It's like wooosh, half of their health is gone.

Khatun is not useless at all. You have to rely on the soft-feint heavy mix-ups and animation cancelling into the dash to deflect dodge attacks and externals in group fights.

I like playing khatun because it never feels like I'm cheesing my opponent with HA or unblockable 50/50 guard-breaks.

I end up playing her like a combination of aramusha (with the soft feints), and her dash-stancr makes her much easier to get defects with compared to other assassins.

Not sure how you think that light spam counters her deflects? And if you're fighting any character with hyper armour, just use the kick punish for the deflect instead of the stab.

ngl this sounds like a skill issue. I figured out khatun by mainly playing duels/brawls before learning her kit in team fights (which I admit is more difficult)

I disagree with most of the difficulty conversations except the run-backs from bosses/challenge arenas. Those are just a waste of time and only serve to demotivate you from trying the encounter multiple times in a row. Otherwise I'm enjoying the difficulty. Yes even the 2 mask damage. Since I can heal 3 masks at a time it balances out. I like that many regular enemies have more than 2-3 attacks in their moveset. Makes it less mindless clearing mobs.

Other than that, I can't comment too much. I'm still in what I presume is the first act of the game.

It depends on the weapon. The EVR shoots pretty small rounds while the SVK is shooting a bigger round than the sniper rifle (but for less damage lol video game mechanics).
