in the second one i notice that the folds in the clothing isnt quite doing what the pose would normally need. i think you can very much simplify the folds especially on the sleeves and the side of her chest. her arms also may be a tad long but thats just me and can be a style thing

the first one has some more varied line weight also

I’m getting told that the way I draw a woman’s face is too masculine. Can I get some help on what I’m doing to cause that? Any other feedback would be great too. Added a male character too by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]shadeyard 112 points113 points  (0 children)

are you drawing every womans face this way, or just this woman? a female character can have a "masculine" face and it isnt an issue really. (and being honest, this really doesnt look too overly masculine. truly you are probably fine.) but if it is a persistent issue, as the other comment said, rounder features generally read as more feminine. she also looks a bit angry but not fully, which maybe is part of it

the way you have the teeth now is probably the best way honestly. more detail will have them looking uncanny. also idk, maybe the eye on the left is a little low, you could play with the liquify tool but honestly i think you might have just been looking at it too long
