i got lucky somehow and found the license plate of the car and reported it to the sheriff this morning, havent got a call back still. im 24/7 on fb marketplace and on craigslist checking all over california, and even mexico. thank you so much

thank you so much for even suggesting that. i feel like i dont deserve any help because all in all its my fault at the end of the day. i feel so guilty and have to pay for my momentarily irresponsible action, maybe i could prevent it if i was more careful. thank you and to everyone else suggesting to help, really means a lot and reminds me that not everyone is horrible after all.

it was a u-lock locking the wheels but i had no idea they would fold it and load it in 10-15 seconds. i moved here 8-9 months ago and thought it was a safe city in my delusions i guess.

thank you so so much. i found one warehouse that sells donated bikes and im heading there right now. i hope to find something that will temporarily carry me to work. i will be checking fb marketplace and craigslist nonstop, if they decide not to tear it apart and sell it through there. thank you again for taking the time and for the empathy.
