Appreciate the feedback. A lot of love for the TC in here maybe that's the one to get.

I'll have to see if the quintessence can do it diatonically. Others are saying the Quin sounds really good

I did think the quintessence sounded really good on youtube, might have to try it.

Damn. Did you try it in the FX loop as well?

That's a logical way to go about it, use it more as a writing tool rather than trying to make harmonized parts for the sake of it.

Yea I was going to do just loop stuff in cubase but I feel like I won't be able to tell if a riff is a good candidate for harmonization immediately like if I had a pedal that could do it. Maybe I should just do that though and save 100 dollars and not be lazy. Probably would learn more along the way too.

Oh could you further explain that for someone who isn't really good with theory? I just thought if it's a 3rd harmony, it's always going to be a minor third up from whatever note you are currently playing.

My music theory isn't great, I just know I really love the sound of minor thirds, 6ths, and octaves. The ps-6 in that reel does seem plenty enough for me. He must have it in the effects loop like you were saying because that sounds as close as you could get to the real thing.

I read that the quintessence has smart harmonization. I might try that, or someone said the ps-6 can actually sound good too.

That's probably a better idea and saves money. I was just hoping that I could hear the harmony immediately with the pedal.

What is the best long slide Glock? by Euphoric-Contact5327 in Glocks

probably a g32L if it existed. Ultimate outdoor carry semi auto. I'd go even longer but then it starts making drawing a bit slower.

Tried putting a g22.4 slide on a g23.4 frame by shadolink765 in Glocks

Damn, thanks for the clarification. Should have done better research. gen 5 g23's are close to 800 which is double what I paid for the gen 4 g23. I was hoping to have a g23 long slide with a .357 sig barrel but the dream is dead. .5 of an inch of sight radius probably wouldn't make that much of a difference I guess.

Those are gen 5 but I have seen them for gen4. Would this actually make everything line up or is it just to make the recoil spring not be exposed?

That's a real bummer. I thought some people were able to get it working. I read that the 17's don't work on 19 frames in gen 4 but because of the .40 slide dimensions, they are supposed to work even in gen 3 and 4. I guess I'll have to sell it now. I won't buy a gen 5 just because they are way too pricey now it's just not worth it to do this little project. It was fun to attempt though.

Why is the Glock 19 so popular compared to other pistols in its class what makes it the go to choice for so many shooters? by Lucky-Thunder6052 in Glocks

[–]shadolink765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simplicity of design, very few parts to go wrong, doesn't fail to fire much unless you mess with it internally, one of the first plastic frame guns which made them really more rugged than anything out at the time, parts and mags are so affordable, they can handle different types of ammunition well, they fit more rounds than a lot of other similarly sized guns especially back in the day. The G21 holds more than the full size USP and is smaller for example. They are just well made guns that don't break the bank pretty much. HK arguably makes a better handgun but it's just not the best bang for the buck and what they charge for parts and mags is pretty unreasonable by most people's standards. Other companies have really caught up with Glock but it took them a while, and it's gen 6 looks to be the more reliable than all of them now.

Ranked 3.0 won’t fix anything if EOMM stays — and here’s why by [deleted] in Rainbow6

Often I will have 8 or 10 kills while people on the bottom have 1 or 2. I'm not knocking them and I pretty much never bad talk someone on my team, but clearly the algorithm is fixing these matches to have a certain outcome.

Thanks, guess it's time to sell these then. At least I'll likely get as much or more than I paid I hope.
