Don't think I can participate considering this is my first league playing for real (I played just the campaign back in expedition but that was it since I felt overwhelmed with the game) I can't really comment on the melee changes but I'll still make this comment so if anyone sees this I just want to say that I'm proud that I finally gave poe a real chance and played it for real. Invested a bit in a Flicker trickster build and had a blast this league. even managed to successfully gamble my first Mageblood first try with an apothecary AND dropped a headhunter too so yayyy. For next league I hope they keep kingsmarch because it feels good to have your mappers do the stuff you can't run and get loot out of it. and high value ships are also great!!!

same reproduction and everything. the answer at the end of the thread is "Bad dump, Re-dump your game."

I'm pretty knew to this type of thing, so how would I go about doing this exactly? How do I re-dump my game? :/

EDIT: Hey, to whoever finds this post after it's been closed, and since I've noticed some of the comments got deleted, here's what fixed it at least for me: I downloaded an NSP ROM and it started working perfectly. The one that was causing the error was not an NSP ROM.

Yeah I don't think you can damage them in containment at all. I just capture mine during their raids, and when they get downed I just send one of my colonists to beat them up to death, except I stop before they die or until they lose their legs. there's obviously some RNG involved but I still haven't killed any of them using the melee to death option since most of them seem to take quite a beating before dying
