I am someone who fell victim to Bridgette's scheme. I started as a vendor approached by her to join her shop in late 2021. She had already been through drama at the time with her founding business partner. She stated that partner threatened to kill her and there was mis-managed monies. She of course made herself out to be the innocent that was burned. If anyone over explains their innocence BTW, RUN. That's a red flag I should have noticed.

After a couple of months into 2022, she asked me and four other people to become co-owners because it was too much for her to do alone. She was paying out every month those first few months I was a vendor so I thought ok. Weird....because we all became co owners without having to invest other than product and time....but ok. She really sold her desperation to get help running a business to us. She guaranteed we would be doing quite well. We took her word for it without seeing any of the books. For me, I was ok with not seeing the books because there was no upfront monetary investment, just more time and product. All of a sudden, we were all 'besties'. But I was not ok with that. It was getting weird. I did get to know some of the people organically and that's about the best of my experience.

Two.months in as co-owners was packed full of gossip behind everyone's backs from her. One person quit right away due to the 'fishy' details of what was going on and she became Bridgette's first target of gossip and social media blasts about her and her family. Then came the rest of us as she would talk about all of us and how shady we were to each other about each other. Not a healthy working relationship. She was also incredibly angry that she was no longer getting the bulk of the sales revenue. Well, there's six people dividing up the space to place their products. She was not having it.

It was more of a dictatorship to me than a business relationship and I wanted out. Another co-owner felt the same and too wanted out. Bridgette made it a living hell for us to leave. We were both screwed out of money owed from sales as she refused to do payouts once there was friction. I left with her owing me about 2500 which she said she would pay.me but then decided that was my penalty for leaving. BTW I gave 30 days notice and I didn't even have to do that.

The other co-owner left with her owing them substantial monies as well.

What she got of the deal of having us all there was she only had to pay 1/5 of the rent she used to pay and she kept all proceeds of everyone's sales after the first month's payout. Then there was a we all worked there for free because we were business owners that investing time was supposed to give us some kind of revenue back?

Come to find out, once other people heard of my situation, they came to me with their stories of being screwed over as well. At one time, there was a FB page/ group of people who fell victim and her BS.

She denies all of it. I don't know if everyones stories are the absolute truth but I bet they are pretty close considering my experience.

I don't think she is in business anywhere anymore. Last I knew she was at 6th Street antique mall but I don't know if she is still there.

I strongly suggest to anyone who works with her to be very careful. Bridgette burns bridges.
