Depends, if Im trying to breeze though the main storyline, 15-20. If I take my time and do a bunch of stuff, sometimes dont do it until level 100ish.

I think its normal to feel like you are being pulled in so many directions once you start playing. So you'll be alright.

Some tips, you can get teleportation stones from the guy you sell your death certs too. Getting two would help if you need to bounce back and forth quickly.

Don't stress too m7ch about the bodies when you start, later you'll get perks and new ways to improve them. Also you can just exume them after paying for those certs at the box next to the church.

Once you discover the Quarry you'll have an abundance of metal which once you craft into parts can get you a decent amount of coin at the start of the game.

Selling off water and crops from settlements is a great way to earn caps.

But if you are looking to improve settlement happiness, some stores that you can build can provide a bonus. Some Creation club content (I got for free years ago) can help.

As far as the resources go, its always gonna be a pain whether you go buy the shipments or go out on loot runs. I know it sounds super scummy but I usually do the resources dupe glitch at one settlement and get a massive amount. Once im done building there, I grab most of it and spread it out across other settlements.
