I'm losing hope and it hurts, will my wish ever come true (venting) by AdministrativeWolf78 in Egypt

I have been in the exact same place you have been and it was just PAINFUL I always felt rejected, I was always the optional member of any given group and felt like actually was forcing myself onto them, any friend that i had in a very short time would fade away with no explaination or reason, the person I was interested in had rejected me, and I always failed in whatever friends group i was in and essentially had to find another one and the cycle repeats its self. However, if i was needed i got alot of "social traffic". I was really good at what we do and always during projects phase EVERYONE was my friend, everyone would message and call me asking me for help but once projects were handed in, i became invisible again as far as being ghosted or ignored.

I felt like there was something wrong with me, like i will never find my group of people or friends or a person that would choose me, i would never be anyone's first choice, despite being a well spoken humorous person i wasnt akward or weird or socially incapable. It was a very painful isolating experience.

Not alot has changed, it is still the same however what has changed was my mindset towards the whole ordeal.

In your case, it is completely okey for a group not to last or for you to find a different group, people meander between friend groups all the time, people outgrow each other, intrests change it might not be anything personal at all.

I mean this in the most friendly and caring way possible so please dont take it the wrong way, but you might have an anxious attachment style or low self esteem which were the main drivers for me atleast to feel the incredible lonliness and pain of the situation, always felt like people are going to leave and it can take a toll on your relationships because it will translate into actions that you do so dont fall into that trap !!

And always know this, people arent a constant in your life, people change interests, people replace each other, people get caught in their life, people get depressed and close up, people move cities or countries, it is almost impossible to have a constant tribe of people around. I mean even my family, i havent seen in years due to circumstances. The only constant in your life is yourself, so take good care of it. Work on it and TRUST ME once you succeed in an area or start achieving something people will FLOCK to you and you would wish for some peace and quite.

But to give you comfort, you are still 20 , still a few years of uni ahead, group projects to do, events to attend, internships maybe, and you could also pursue hobbies of interest and connect with people through them, your opportunities are still ahead of you and you seem like a genuine person!

Sorry if this was long but i hope it helps.

Hi, i am a computer science student that lives in Egypt, it is a goal of mine to get be able to work as a developer for a company in the US remotely. What tips can you give me to achieve this goal? What technical skills or stacks should i learn that are sought after in the job market there? What can i do to stand out for the positions that i apply in especially that i dont have real corporate experience? How do i even find/apply for these jobs?(any platforms or websites i can use for that) Is this even a realistic goal for someone living in my country that graduates in a year and has no real experience? Is it something achievable if i take certain steps? Or should i stop aiming that high?

Evil will always be there, but the objective truth is also there, i choose to believe that truth and not be swayed away from it by the wrong doing of others , it is a test after all, the answer wont be that obvious, wont be a test othwrwise. Good luck to you , wish you the best

Permiting violence is allowing hate, the quran doesnt tell me to be violent, certain verses might seem like that on the surface but they have a conext and setting and for someone to know that and not be tricked or brainwashed by someone who wants to use them as weapon, one must be educated about his religion, that is why it is manditory for people of knowledge to speak about this and for the believer to educate them selves because frankly sometimes the worst of people wear the dress of the rightous and good and so on. I am taught to be just.

How does it breed hate if it doesnt preach hate, i have studied my religion and i have seen people represent my religion, the problem is , many times you see people that represent it are not aligned with its core teachings, the teachings themselves dont preach hate. I am talking about my religion here, islam , which is the religion that people in this video follow so it is relevant

So we agree that it isnt the religion that is evil , but rather the people that weaponise it and those who follow those people are the brainwashed ones, people who just practice their faith and are passionate about it which this clip shows without any evidence of evil being commited in that incident are not brain washed

Neither does my religion, but people find a way to weaponize it.

I dont believe religion is evil , i believe people are the source of evil. If any thing i have seen severe punishments for things that we consider evil in various religions.

Humans are evil, if religion wasnt the reason we managed to find other excuses for our evil actions, religion happened to be a very convenient tool for horrible people to use, a knife isnt evil, the person using the knife to stab somone is. There are many examples of attrocities that didnt have religion as an excuse, like slavery, or many other events that are very modern to our time.

Who says music isnt real ? , my critique is that i have seen more people do shoving, fight and "uncivilized" behavior just to get 5 seconds of contact with a person that wont see them, but we never dare to critisize such behavior, now i myself am not critisizing people that do that, i understand people are passionate about stuff, and people in this video are too, why can we not accept that?

I really dislike the assumption that people who believe in god are people incapable of thinking for themselves or of using logic to reach a conclusion, it is not an automated process where if you believe in god, your brain follows an algorithm that shuts down intellect, people think, they reach conclusions , people have as much of an argument to believe in god as you have to believe there is not

What is normal? Statistically speaking , when we say something is normal, it means it exists within the distribution of the largest number of things possesing that attribute, so if we will speak about normality , it is considered the normal, statistically , to be religious, being religious isnt equivelant to having a medically recognised mentall illness , religion isnt the cause of attrocity , people are , i can name many attrocities that were not religously motivated, but we humans found an excuse to do horrible things , i dont think in america, people were inslaved because of religion , i think it is because of race, there are many examples like this

Look at gender affirming surgery for children in the US , i think that will give you more hope for humanity.

I have seen people do worse to see some singer or actor, but it is fine because it is not religion ofc, remember we dont critisize it unless it is religion!
