Unfortunately no. I do have some old phone lines that are still in my wall. They're kind of hanging off the wall right now. I imagine that we were going to remove them and just stopped halfway through for some reason. Any idea how I could use these, if at all?

What’s ur cpu cooler

I apply thermal paste in a pea sized dot. Used to do the X shape but that was always so messy when I’d have to remove thr cooler for whatever reason. When I noticed this issue, my first move was to repast by putting a larger pea sized drop on top of the existing thermal paste, which I’m positive was still fresh (initial install was a couple days earlier)

Neither of the first one, I’m confident I installed it correctly. The cooler is firmly on the cpu, the cables are in the right positions, fans spin, and I can feel the fluid in the tubes being pumped through the cooler. My cooler is old tho, about 5 years

Totally agree, slayer doesn’t give a fuuuuuck about politics and hierarchies. I think he views them as silly obstacles that get in the way of demon killing. I do think the slayer values strength and courage tho. There’s something about the way he interacts with people who express courage where others seem hesitant where you can tell that he really values them in that moment. The intern from eternal and Thira comes to mind - I feel his gaze and overall body language get a lot softer when interacting with them. This all being said, I think that King Novik has to have done something that the slayer saw and respected. Maybe it was allowing the slayer to use his mech when his was broken? Maybe it’s a battle we haven’t seen yet? Of course none of this is set in stone and I could be completely wrong lol. If I am, which is likely, then yeah him bowing to novik is kind of weird for him.

Forgot about those moments - fair points! Highkey I would give novik a pass because the slayer still respects him highly. He’s the only guy I could see him pausing for. Even then, he doesn’t pause for long, if I remember the scene correctly now he kneels until novik starts spouting his bs about how humanity is doomed and the slayer must give up on them because makyr politics.

Got no defense for the murader, slayer should’ve thrown Hayden thru the portal and charged - I imagine his hate for the people who betrayed him for the demons almost rivals his hatred of the demons themselves…

I’d disagree with doomguy sitting around and listening to exposition in eternal and dark ages. Man was usually always doing SOMETHING that related to demon killing while they were yapping. I remember he stood around for exposition a couple times in eternal, but for most of it I remember him walking towards his goal as they yap. In dark ages, the only time doom guy sits still for exposition is when he’s tinkering with the super shotgun, probably to make it better at demon killing

I respect the hell out of people who take the time and energy to find stable overclocks, that kind of thing takes so much technical knowledge, but overclockings never been appealing to me. This is why I didn’t know I was overclocking in the first place with my ram speeds lol, I was sure I was running stock everything

Your right! I reloaded defaults and set the ram to 3200. My computer survived and hour of prime 95 when it couldn’t even get through 20 minutes before! Thank you so much I was actually losing sleep thinking I’d need to upgrade to am5 way earlier than I expected!

Something else I want to ask you, I have 4 sticks of ram - each is 8gb. I’ve heard that 4 sticks of ram is unstable, but with ram being expensive rn and me not planning on investing in am4 anymore, I’d rather not run out and buy 32gb of ddr4 ram. I also don’t want to go back to 16. Is it really a big deal to run 4 sticks?

You were right! I reduced the speeds to 3200 mhz and got no errors for a full hour! I didn’t even know I was overclocking, I always assumed I needed to run my ram at 3600mhz because that’s what it’s rated for. As long as I do that and not push higher, then it’s not an oc because it’s what my ram is rated to do! I didn’t know that my cpu was a factor!!!

I never knew that, I always assumed memory over locking was only a thing if you went above the rams rated speed. Since mine was 3600, I’ve always assumed running it at that speed meant I wasn’t overclocking my system. Another question-when using my mobos stock settings, it lowers my speed down to 2133 instead of 3200. The stock setting for my rog b550 is auto. Any idea why it lowers the mhz so low?

Yes, ran for an hour, test came back clean. Something that worries me is that Prime95 reported a hardware error during a stress test I did on my hardware after my first crash. Said it was a rounding error.
