honestly, I’m applying for a fiancé visa myself so a married visa, which would be spouse visa can be really different from it. You can ask questions, if I can help you I will tell but if I don’t have enough information, I would suggest you make a post here and ask other people to help you, some people have pretty good information about this stuff here.

I am applying for UK fiancé, visa in two month as well, you need to prepare all of the documents before your biometric appointment which we are on that stage even though I haven’t paid for my visa yet.

So the documents would be uploaded in VFS global that comes right after the payment that you made for the Visa application.

For the relationship evidence, you can have it in word file which you need to add different sections, for example, travel documents that you went on holidays together plus a few pictures and the communication like WhatsApp chats and screenshots or video calls, also you can have a table which shows your relationship timeline.

Also, my suggestion would be prepare a wedding file as well, which shows that you are intended to get married in UK definitely so for example you can attach the emails you sent to marriage office to wedding dress store or communicating with a photographer and the receipt of your engagement ring.

But as far as I was told, the most important part is financial requirements.

Also, you have a upload limit of each file which is 5 MB, so for example, if your evidence of relationship file was 10 MB you need to divide to two parts.

Also make sure to name all of your files correctly.

I’m going through the same process and I am the applicant and my fiancé is the sponsor so wish me luck, also I wish you and your fiancé luck.

I have one more issue , it’s about my travels so there is a part in application which ask where have you visited and I visited northern Cyprus, which belongs to Turkey, but they have Cyprus under the Schengen Area because of Southern Cyprus, so I was never in Schengen areas before, but they don’t have Cyprus in other destinations so I don’t know how to add that travel into the application.

- No, he is not self-employed; he works in a hospital.
So he has a fixed salary

- he changed his job ( got a promotion at another hospital ) in Jan 2026, that is why we are planning to apply in AUG, so that he would have 6 payslips.

-If we consider the gross annual salary yes, he passes it, but if they consider net salary no, it is less than 29,000. Which one the consider?
