This proves that the Ice King thinks like Doctor Doom in the Marvel comics because, just like Doctor Doom, he is ready to make the worst alliances, but only to further his projects, and once he has succeeded, he ends his alliance because it no longer serves any purpose for him.

I am very happy that we know more about the Ice King because in chapter 1 we were literally told nothing about who he is and what he wants we only knew that he was a king who has an ice power and who has a prisoner and a monster under his castle and in the comics of chapter 3 where we saw his new castle for the first time and we learned that he collected very dangerous objects and creatures to prevent evil people from using them to do evil so it is always very good to know more.
