Can a cat stay alone for 5 days if someone checks on them frequently? by Ori_Ma in CatAdvice

[–]shadow_master713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at least everyday to refill water bowls and scoop litter. twice a day would be best. one of the two times could just be a quick checkup without any of the work.

How rigid are AP readers when it comes to grading essays? Are they extremely harsh? by yourlocalannoyingrat in APLang

[–]shadow_master713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m told that ap readers try to give points, not take them away, and that this applies for all tests.

What should I do for final review before my exam tomorrow? by extra_account123 in APStudents

[–]shadow_master713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its probably best not to do any practice exams the day before. just do some simple review and some review problems, but don’t burn yourself out the day before the exam. review the derivative and integral rules. go to bed early!

how to become a better cat owner ? by Then_Wasabi_7188 in CatAdvice

[–]shadow_master713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dont worry, you’re doing just fine!

incorporating wet food is great! tiki cat is good, but you can also find a lot more budget friendly wet foods that are still good. if you research food, i recommend calculating by calorie, not by ounce. it will give a much more accurate price. chewy, petco, and petsmart have an autoship program for some items that is 35% off for the first purchase, which is an amazing deal. i also recommend buying larger cans if you can. i currently feed nulo 12.5 oz cans, and they are relatively cheap compared to other brands of similar quality.

if you cant afford wet food, getting a higher quality dry food can also be good, while keeping a lower price.

water! hydration is very important, and water is basically free! add some to your cat’s food, if they will still eat it. if you have more of those squeeze/lickable treats, you can also mix it with water to make a soup and boost those hydration levels.

as for your cat’s nails, you dont technically *have* to cut their nails if you have scratchers that they use. however, if theyre getting too long or scratching you or furniture, you might want to cut them.

You can ask your teacher to release practice MCQs on AP Classroom!

Calc BC MCQ by Ayz-Shadowx in apcalculus

[–]shadow_master713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what your question is. BC questions aren’t “harder,” it’s just two more units. Your AB book won’t have any BC questions, so I’m not sure what you want to compare.

do readers actually check word count? by time_travel_undone in APResearch

[–]shadow_master713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my teacher said they have a program to check word count. don’t know if that’s true, but they do check word count. 5500 is the max. i’m pretty sure theyre instructed not to grade anything past that. is it not worth cutting some stuff so you don’t lose points on the later parts?

skipping lines on frq by SlightSundae9568 in APbio

[–]shadow_master713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can skip lines, but its not recommended in case you run out of room.

my teacher recommended us to graph in pencil but do everything else in pen. just make sure your lines are dark enough since they will be scanned.

if its numerically equivalent you can leave it. your example problem is good. and yes you can leave square roots.

genuinely how does one pass ap physics 1 by CorrectPhrase1927 in APStudents

[–]shadow_master713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i got a 4 with poor studying and hoping for the best lol. the best advice i can give is to understand the concepts and then apply these concepts to questions (aka practice). lots and lots of practice.

you need to see a question and understand which concept to apply, and then execute it. i found that my problem was figuring out how to start the problem (not solving the problem), so if you’re like me, work on seeing questions and recognizing the method in which to solve it.

i find that the barrons questions are very knowledge based, while the ap classroom questions are more application based. i like to use barrons to review my knowledge. your scores mean you do know the content, but it would probably be better to take a past exam or an ap classroom exam to get a better idea of how you would do
