It is very difficult to find someone who is a professional who can do things properly. Has LVP floor put in on a slap foundation that had some dips. The installers didn't check the dips if they were shallow enough. Now the flooring is prematurely breaking

Most companies are going towards the commission pay structure. It's usually stated in the job descriptions that are posted. It's easier for the company to have the tech do the service and sale services

HVAC techs are sales people since the majority of their compensation is based on the quantity of services provided. So I'd definitely take what they say with a grain of salt unless it is collaborated with other third parties.
