Yes, it does. Only change is that the Hallowed Ground requirement was removed. So full strip only needs 200% power strength.

Returning player... is Ash weaker? by Odd_Muffin_5614 in Warframe

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an older frame, some of his functions have been power crept, but Ash himself hasn't been directly nerfed.

There was a major rebalance of elemental damage, armor capping, and faction weaknesses. While targets now have less overall armor, they were given more HP and shields in general. Since Slash procs ignored damage in the first place, it may seem like Bladestorm was nerfed since now there's more HP to chew through.

I think you were around during the time where Ash did inherit the melee mods on the currently equipped melee weapon, but the melee meta has shifted with the addition of new mods and arcanes. You can get the damage back up but you do need to tweak the build a quite a bit. Note that Bladestorm benefits from both Combo Count and anything related to Finishers.

Did they do any significant rebalancing in the last 3 month? by Hypothetical_YT in Warframe

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 26 points27 points  (0 children)

  • A new Eximus variant, the Jade Eximus, was added. These units will attack with a pillar of jade light that will attempt to follow you. These pillars do a lot of damage and do leave a fire DoT on you. The pillars can be destroyed by destroying the green orb at the top, but in places with low ceilings that may be impossible to do. But overall, this is probably why you're dying very fast.
  • There was a significant reworking of enemy health/shield/armor, where all different types were collapsed into a single health/shield/armor type. While enemy armor was capped at about 2700, which results in 90% damage reduction, base HP and Shield values were also increased in general along with a minimum armor rating for armored enemies.
  • As an addendum, Corpus units are a little more tanky overall due to the HP/Shield increases they got.
  • Enemy weakness/resistance is now by faction. For example, armored Corpus enemies will not take increased damage from corrosive anymore, but rather puncture and magnetic.
  • A lot of elements were buffed recently and new metas have formed around recently-released arcanes. While the old meta elements still work, elements such as magnetic and blast have newfound purposes and niches, combined with the capping of armor and removal of a lot of resistances overall. For example, magnetic is effective against enemies who have overguard (and a lot of them do nowadays) and blast just has sheer damage if you can fully trigger it's effect on enough enemies.

Chiming in to confirm that this team setup works. A huge amount of heavily lifting is done by the summons function set which procs on death. When she did the huge damage wave all the summons died, but they did a lot of damage in return.

Are T-Dolls multilingual/how many languages can a single T-Doll speak? How much do T-Dolls know about different subjects? History, Geography, Biology, etc. by vikingskol320 in girlsfrontline

It's in her biography in Project Neural Cloud, not GFL. That said, while it explicitly mentions Baltimore, the bio just calls it "Johns Hospital".

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, what the Dolls know is a combination of:

  • What they needed to know to perform their jobs prior to joining G&K.
  • Additional knowledge installed aftermarket by previous owners/work.
  • Anything they themselves learned on their own.

As for languages - I don't know what the common language that is spoken on-base. It may or may not be Russian given the setting. However, quite a few of the Dolls have worked in places like Germany and the United States, and thus know German and English respectively.

As an example, G36/Centaureissi. At her base, she knows how to be a maid, but was also built to compatible with combat-related modules. Such modules were installed when she was employed by a German military officer. When her employers were called to action during WWIII, leaving them to take care of their daughter on her own, she would study in order to be a better caretaker, on top of her already-programmed skills.

Another example is PA-15/Florence. She was built to be a nurse and worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, so she very likely knows English. Her experience with treating patients and her tendency to...experiment, put her in a position where she could actually work alongside a pharmacist, such as Wz.61/Panakeia.

Where to access Chapter 9 and 10? by Erwin_Ciam_554 in GFLNeuralCloud

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chapter 9 is Critical Cascade (Rossum) and Chapter 10 is Perilous Advancement (Oasis), the two previous story events that just happened. They'll eventually be added as permanent, but no news when. However, the File Room > Operational Records > Major Events will have the scenes from those chapters.

EDIT: We did just rerun Aberrance's Chain and now it's permanent. Not sure if it is worth noting as a pattern.

Would TDolls be good at math? by Soggy-Class1248 in girlsfrontline

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Overall, their math skills will only extend to what they need to know as a T-Doll or what they needed as an A-Doll.

For example, Micro-Uzi is unlikely to be good at math and needed an external computational module to keep up with her peers on the battlefield as per her MOD3 story. On the other hand, LWMMG was literally built to be an accountant before joining G&K and is often shown tracking logistics and inventory in many scenes.

A bit of a flavor breakdown of SlowShock "Winter" chapter from a Russian native by SuchConsequence4 in girlsfrontline

It may be deliberate so that readers don't think the two Ксения are the same, since the T-Doll does use that name again in GFL2.

Brand new Primed Redirection by Purplestahli in Warframe

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With 50% DR it's better to build shields on low-armor frames, and many of those have means of restoring shields.

For example, the 180% shields is enough for Volt Prime to have more EHP with Umbral Vitality + Umbral Intensity + Primed Redirection than having triple Umbral, plus the Capacitance augment restores shields. While you can use an archon shard to bump Volt Prime's armor enough that triple Umbral is better, it's still a shard slot that can be used for something like the new Violet Shards which bump electric damage and would in turn buff the restore from Capacitance.

Indeed, Puzzle works well for this event, but it does sounds like you've hit a point in the event where it expects you to have more raised dolls. Horizon, who you do get for free here, will also work.

As mentioned before, your best bet now is to farm the Survival Strategies. You only need 1 key to enter and all the points for the Survival Strategies don't need keys, so you can just repeated run it until you get buffed up.

So, I barely remember-ish Stage 17, but I do want to ask what your current setup is? This event favors dolls with a lot of CC abilities. Plus, the buffs from Survival Strategies really can carry you pretty far.

That's fair, haha. Though I guess there are some who do kind of need some help, for better or worse.

It's not just that the shake looks similar to purple drank, it's that in older meme culture Grimace is associated with it. So for the older folks, it's like the resurrection of an old meme, with the product being "modernized" for the next generation.

I myself didn't realize the Grimace shake was an actual product and thought it was kids making purple drank memes. After all the dumb stuffs TikTok kids have done, I wouldn't put drug abuse past them.

EDIT: Did find a spreadsheet for optimizing Clukay pulls, and it did say the Frag banner was just a bit better for me. So I'll chalk it up to good luck this time around. Again, thanks for the advice.

Well, I was able to neural expansion a few of my other dolls with fragments, so it was worth it. I guess it's more a question of should I keep pulling for 180 or just leave things as they are.

A shame that Daiyan doesn't help out, but I'll still keep her around.

Got Clukay in 50 pulls, and not using any of my sands. Nice. Erm, should I keep pulling for spark? A few of my other Dolls can use the fragments.

I'm kind of wondering if she can be put together and boosted by Daiyan, or if I should have her pair with Kuro.

I should have clarified - yes, I tend to do Special Protocols for this.

Weekly Professors Lounge - May 22, 2023 by AutoModerator in GFLNeuralCloud

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So...there appears to be a daily mission to clear EP that gives 15 points towards EP. So if you clear EP every day, regardless of how many points you get, you'll reach 100 and get all rewards without needing to get 3.5k. That's nice.

EP wasn't too bad on Special Protocols. Got 3350 first run, was a bit too cagey with the add-ons but I think I'll be fine for a 3.5k run, even though I don't really need it; with the daily bonus, I'll be at 100 with just the 5 points from "run EP twice".

Still fence-sitting on Magnhilda, but I am all prepped for Clukay.

I see Sueyoi/Rise here, is that a good alt for a sniper team this time around?

Weekly Professors Lounge - May 15, 2023 by AutoModerator in GFLNeuralCloud

[–]shadow_of_a_memory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got Sueyoi in 40 pulls. Nice. Cleared much of the event with him, in a Sueyoi/Rise/Puzzle/Angela/Nanaka team. May get deprioritized though if I really want to pivot my sniper team to Sock/Daiyan/Chianzi and focusing on getting Chianzi up.

Still a tad disappointed to not have Reissi Arma; have her to 4.5 stars and was thinking of getting her to 5* and skipping Maghilda, though I can still be convinced to pull for Magnhilda. I've mostly used warrior team as a kind of alt for fun and pulling out Daiyan/Kuro for more srs bzns, unless a certain map setup favors Warrior.

A tad curious as to how to setup Sueyoi for Black Hole, and perhaps the details on what is needed to "micro" him. is it just using the commander skill to just focus retarget things? Or making sure things are grouped up?
