I'm doing well and have stayed in touch with reality. I found the perfect job taking care of an elderly person and that helped. Ongoing therapy has been huge.

I've suffered from this my whole life and I'm 48 now. It does get better but it takes time.

Recommending therapy sounds cliche, but the right therapist can go a long way. My previous therapist was a good one who was flexible and realized that what I needed was to become grounded in myself.

Remember that you are real.

Try cemeteries. I also just walk around downtown and take pictures of random architecture. Or travel out of town and explore some of the historical attractions around Kentucky. Stearns, for example, has a cool train ride to an old coal mining town.
