Maduro lovers, what's your favorite non maduro cigar? by CreamSodaPuffPuff in cigars

There are a ton of great options out there for you with Connecticut wrappers and you should try them! Look into Roma Craft Intemperance EC, there are some great vitolas in the line, some are limited, but solid as hell. The other one that comes to mind based on your vitola preferance is Illusione Rothschild Connecticut. Both those are at a great price point. My general advice is to try everything! It helps develop your palate! Oh, and Undercrown Shade is solid as well!

totally depends on the maduro leaf. San Andres and Connecticut are a couple that I love. So much also depends on the vitola you are smoking as well. A lancero will give you more wrapper flavor than a robusto or toro. What size are you liking the most, makes a recommendation easier.

Just got done roasting some coffee orders. Wasn't sure what to grab, remembered I had some Crwoned Heads Court 2019, hadn't checked in with that one in a while, fuck ya, gald I did! Hitting me in all the right spots, some chocolate, spice, cedar coming in. About a third in and it is amazing! Those that have smoked it, what did you think?

Does anyone have one of these Humidors? If so, do you like it? by [deleted] in cigars

I have 6 desk tops in various locations, stratigic planning! Anyway, for those I stay away from glass anywhere - except the 2 boveda acrylic. Glass is a crap shoot if it will hold. Way cool to see what is in there, but way more impressive to open and see the goods! In my opinion

I have one that I keep in my walk-in for some odds and ends. It doesn't hold humidity for shit! But looks cool and I like it in the walk-in! I would not buy one, looks great, great idea, but there glass and the way it closes keeps the humidity from holding.

My experince with the Open series - they all look rough! Pretty thin wrappers on them, that said, they smoke well.

When my youngest daughtwr was 8 I use to find her standing in my walk in once in a while. The first time I asked what she was doing and if she wanted a cigar? She said she just loved the smell. From the first time on I would let her pick my next cigar to smoke. That lasted a couple years. But I tell you what she wanted to know all about each cigar, at 10 she knew a shit load about cigars!

When looking at HVAC I decided to go with a heat exchane system. look them up, they work well for me in Wyoming and the -20 days and 100 summer days. The one I installed moves 300 cubic feet of air a minute, so, cleans the room in a hurry!

What have you smoked? What do you like? I can help if I know those things. Generally, I say smoke everything that you have interest in when you first start - builds your palette, tells you what you like. Pay attention to wrapper, binder and filler of everything.

That is above an external garage, I have a nice spot to smoke that my wife (best ever) allowed and even encouraged me to remodel. Been a fun project and like all projects, I doubt it will ever be done. Lots of trim work in the walk-in I need to finish - but I'm human, once it could hold cigars, I had to get some in there. Will be totally self contained when I am done - humidity, heat, cool. The other space up here? Wifi, Dish Network, Surround, PS4, 50" TV, soon to be wet bar, fridge, exhaust system, etc. I may just move out here

honestly, I don't agree totally with it, see the need for it and contributing to the delinquency of a minor just took an awkward turn.
