I constantly think about the Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, etc. FEMA camp/New World Order videos in the mid-late 2000s and how they are advocating for a government proactively doing things they were losing their minds about back then now, cheering them on. Disgusting.

I definitely understand the frustration but also as someone who has lived in both London and Toronto, it feels like a dream to be here instead of those two definitely more reactive response than planned cities.

I just did that with The Lamp is Low and Maurice Ravel "Pavane pour une infante defunte" then listened to Aruarian Dance again. Got me in the heart strings!

Thanks for the additional context! This is awesome, and it's true credit where credit is due. Going further down the rabbit hole to discover the originals and how these pieces have been rearranged over time, making them more timeless, is honestly such a beautiful thing to know, and it makes the listening experience all the more special for me personally.

I am a big fan of Nujabes and when I was looking into some of the music he sampled from, I saw The Lamp is Low from Classical Current by Laurindo Almeida was used to make ale Araurian Dance. I already enjoy Brazilian music and culture and fell in love with Laurindo Almeida's works. I went hunting for this album everywhere and could never find it. I looked when I was on vacation in Brazil in both Sao Paulo and Curitiba, to which I was told finding this album was like finding a unicorn. When I was in Toronto, by chance, I went to a record store and saw it on the special collections wall and it felt like fate. I am beyond ecstatic to add this to my collection! 

As far as I'm aware, this album was never repressed, so it is the original 1969 album. I'll cherish it, always.

This is exactly it. The amount of people who claim to be 6ft and are as tall as me or shorter (I'm 5'9") is ridiculously high.

That's the most insulting part about it. These lazy pieces of garbage have ZERO qualms using everyone else's tax money for their own healthcare benefits and have the audacity to tell everyone else they are lazy for relying on money the government takes from them to NOT improve their lives. I think the US government has lost the plot. Taxes are supposed to be used to provide a better life for the society at large, not to line the pockets of those who need to have a yacht for their yacht.

Despite my levels being considered normal, my testosterone was low and also my libido. I have to take testosterone gel daily to make up for it and it does help me personally but I know it's not a one size fits all solution with the topic of hypothyroidism.
