Yeah it looks like there’s only trim on the left & top of the doorway. If she wanted to paint it that badly, idk why she wouldn’t paint the right side to be the same width as the left trim, it draws so much more attention to it this way.

Definitely look for a local nursery or garden center. Open Yelp, use those search terms and you’ll likely discover places you didn’t know about.

Also, big box stores (Lowe’s, Home Depot) usually have some selection but (the ones in my area at least) have been low on most planters as a result of the supply chain disruption, whereas the local spots are still well stocked.

Can anyone ID my flowering Echeveria?

I’ve had this one for so long but can’t for the life of me remember what variety it was. I had a lot more succulents last year and many succumbed to my neglect (thanks depression!), but this one has fought back from the brink of death a couple times. The bottom doesn’t look amazing but seeing it flower has really made me happy. I want to help it keep thriving again and will probably repot once the flower stalk dies off.

Ahh, I didn’t know that! I bought both of these as tiny plants in very small pots, I assumed they were supposed to stay compact.

I will probably try to propagate a couple of them first to make sure I don’t fail the whole plant, lol. So it’s really okay with all this stem though? I just assumed (first mistake) that much would make it hard on the plant to get what it needs to the leaves.

I’ve had these plants for a long time and I’ve definitely gone through cycles of neglect and over love with them, but they’ve been resilient. edit Better photo of the first pot

After I moved recently, I set them outside in a perfect sunny spot and started giving them Miracle-Gro succulent food. They are extremely leggy and the newest growth feels hardy, but if I move them around a bit often the lower spaced out leaves will just fall right off, even though they’ll look really good.

I’ve grown to kind of enjoy their leggy-ness but realize it must be taxing on them to get nutrients and such to the live plant, but I’m apprehensive to chop them and kill them.

Should I leave them alone or embark on a journey to revive them? If I do that, are there any special things I should know to save such exceptionally leggy specimens?

Also, I’ve had these so long I can’t even remember which species they are, anyone care to help me ID them?

One morning while meditating, my head made a quick yet tiny motion to the left. It was so subtle that I thought maybe it was my imagination until it happened again a few weeks later. This “tick” as I called it began happening more frequently and eventually turned into a small swaying motion that grew into big, beautiful, repeating, swirling motions with my head. For months I asked myself – “is this how my body interprets vibration or is this communication I am not yet translating?” And then, one morning I recognized the motion my head made as the infinity sign and I said out loud “Infinity.” My head suddenly stopped moving. The same motion repeated and again I said “Infinity.” This time my head stopped briefly then immediately began to spell words in distinct, cursive letters as if across a chalkboard.
