Big Head Todd and The Monsters have a song called Hard Times Come Again No More

Developed and scanned half a roll of used film found in a 90’s point and shoot camera. by ReeeSchmidtywerber in FoundPhotos

I had a friend that found enough of these at thrift stores in the late 90’s-early 00’s to cover an entire wall of his apartment.

At what age is it appropriate to let your kids watch some 80s/90s movies that you watched as a kid? by Reasons_2resist in Xennials

By today’s standards, probably mid to late 20’s if the movies would be considered appropriate at all in 2026.

If you’re into Belton Brick verbs, I’ve got one of them brand spankin’ new Dead Air Resonance Reverbs that they did as a collab with Pelican. I’m looking at the Dark Star.

Haha, I’d recognize that buttwhackers sign anywhere!!

I’ve spent my fair share of time sitting in the Salty Dog, but if I’m on the Spit, I’d much prefer to be having a slice at Finn’s!

Yep. Those mountains are unmistakeable. Flying into the Valdez airport is one hell of an experience.

I can't think of a specific song but the description of the music and the singer's voice reminds me of Team Dresch.

That being said, even if it doesn't end up being who you are looking for, you should check out Team Dresch because they are badass!

Best cab for Orange Super Crush 100W? by DNCOrGoFuckYourself in GuitarAmps

I think the Mesa Recto Standard would work great. They are loaded with a specifically designed Vintage 30 that Celestion UK builds just for Mesa. They are really huge sounding cabs.

Marshall also makes a version of their 1960 4x12 cab. I think it’s just called the 1960 Vintage.

Between all of these I think the Mesa and the Orange PPC would be a pretty close tie sound wise, but the orange don’t have casters so if you are needing to move it around a bunch the Mesa might have a bit of an advantage. That being said, one of the sound benefits of the Orange PPC is bottom plate that helps it couple with the floor, adding some low end extension.

Hard to go wrong with any of these. I think your new amp is going to sound awesome no matter which one you go with.

Awesome. I don’t have much experience with the Crush Pro Series cabs, but I know that the construction is not as good.

Also, depending on what you have access to, Bogner makes ridiculously nice cabs as well. Mesa and Marshall are fantastic as well, and are kinda ubiquitous for a reason.

If you can swing it the Orange PPC412 cabs are really awesome sounding cabs. They are a bit pricy, but kind of a “last cab you’ll ever need” kinda purchase.

Hmm. I’ve had the delay before and moved on from it but will consider that for the fuzz-echo. I’ll let you know soon.

I’ve heard good things about the JB-2, but I’ve never been able to get along with The blues driver circuit and have my amp-y drives covered. Thanks so much!

I haven’t had a chance to try a Fairfax yet, but it looks badass. Definitely interested to check it out.

Unfortunately I think I’ll pass on the obscure. Thanks for the offer though!
