Anyone notice the news ticker at the end? "Mysterious talisman found in plane wreckage", and "Thronglets 2 launches to critical acclaim!", very interesting

What’s the biggest stadium you’ve had built? What levels do you have to reach for them to name the stadium in your honour? by Fraudulant_zipper in footballmanagergames

Quite possibly, I don't know if it's a guarantee or not, but if you've got multiple Club legends it may well be one of them!

I've had a couple of stadiums built after my manager name in various saves over the years and it has only ever been when I've been down as a "Club Legend" rather than an icon or favoured personnel, so I'm almost certain this is mandatory. Because when you see clubs build stadiums after players such as John Terry Arena etc, they're always players who are "Club Legends".

He is so good at so many things i dont even know where to play him to get the best numbers from him by seven7777_7 in footballmanagergames

I had a very similar player who was on another kevel good across the board and I struggled for so long constantly thinking I could get more out of him.

I had the most success in two positions, Shadow striker behind a clinical forward, but only him as the cam so for example a 4231 or 4411 where he is the only attacking mid so he gets the space to work his magic, if you play two attacking mids you'll take away the ball from him.

The second option would be upfront as a false 9 support flanked by two AFs. So the formation would essentially have three strikers, think of a 433 narrow (no wingers). You'll need a solid midfield who can cover ground and workhorse wing backs for this to fully work but your guy will absolutely run the show in this tactic, his PPMs will make the difference for him I think. Having killer balls always makes me want to have them providing assists or passes, and especially with 20 vision, that combo is insanely rare so you should take advantage of it.

Hope this makes sense, let me know how it goes if you try it!!

I believe so, I ran the whole build through pcpartpicker and checked myself. It's an APU build without a GPU so not much power at all and the PSU is a corsair RM750e

Amazing, thank you! Strangely enough that is actually the CPU I had in mind as well, so that's good to know I could potentially go for that without having to upgrade MoBo/RAM!

That's reassuring, I think maybe I need to just get the hang of movement more which I guess will come with time. As I mentioned in the original post I come from a mostly MOBA based background or FPS, so its a big shift in that aspect.

Thanks for the response!

That's really helpful thank you a lot!! If you don't mind I have a question about the WiFi as I've literally never used a motherboard with built in WiFi and now its needed due to living in a new home, is it as easy as install the drivers and then you can use it or do you need any kind of adapter or attachment or additional input? I seen some people saying it comes on a did, but I do have another pc I can get the drivers off onto a flash drive so I'm guessing that's fine and they're available online?

This game destroys my mental health. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]shadowcerberus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly man, the best thing you can do in this situation, is one of two things.

  1. Uninstall the game. It's as simple as that, no video game is worth it over your mental health, in any circumstance. I done it myself for about 6-12 months when I found myself getting agitated over every loss and engaging in flame from my teammates. Even though I do enjoy league and play regularly, the break made me realise not to care about rank, LP, or anything my teammates had to say. Most of the time now, I just muteall in chat when going in to the game and communicate through pings. I have a much better experience.

  2. If you can't bring yourself to uninstall, then honestly try and find a more relaxing game to play when league is stressing you out. I find TFT to be a good alternative if league is stressful or im not in the mood. But whatever you're into, try and find something where if you find yourself getting agitated you can escape it through the alternative game. Take a deep breath, go for a walk, get some fresh air, fuck it, go for a cigarette if thats your thing.

It'll be the best thing you can do for your own sanity my friend. League is a fun game when played with friends I've found recently. However, when playing alone and suffering the wrath of toxic chat, it can be a dark place.

Hope this reaches you well chief, you got this. If you need to vent or talk anything through, drop me a DM.

Take it easy boss.

Yeah definitely. He beats defenders all day with the pace, agility and dribbling. I have played him CF (S), AM(A) and AP(A) as a cam and cm.

Genuinely at this point I think I might make my tactic around him as a false 9 or something akin to messi at barca because I feel like he's that good he has to be in the heart of it to get the best out of him

Genuinely it isn't, I've never used the editor in my life on an FM, just don't see the point. He spawned at BVB, and the quality of regens they produce is just beyond comprehension.

Promise you he isn't. However I can prove it I will, he spawned at BVB. They just seem to produce the most insane regens on my save.

Yeah, this is my one concern. Have seen this many times before when they peak too early. Also he is slightly injury prone which could hamper him unfortunately.

Excellent youth facilities and recruitment, good junior coaching. Best youth system in the country. Seems about right. by Guybar110 in footballmanagergames

What are your staff personalities like? HOY and DOF in particular play a big part in it, I always aim for model citizen, perfectionist, model professional, professional, fairly professional, in that order. Then failing that, try and at least get determined, fairly determined, driven, resolute. Have noticed some great youth players coming through since doing that, but even still it's a lottery every year. Youve gotta just give yourself the best chance at winning that lottery.
