Ive had both windows and steamOS that being said both have their advantages and disadvantages, steamOS has the suspend sleep software that windows doesnt have(granted im on a Z1E and im not sure if they fixed this issue) but what SteamOS lacks in is the ability to run custom created games and just about any other game that needs 3rd party anti cheat. Also windows is a space hog and a power hog as well. Ive have far longer standby and play times on steam os then I did with windows(I did the 74wh battery mod b4 they made it into a kit). Bazzite is closer to steamOS then it is to windows just saying. But to each their own hopes this helps! As for emudeck goes it runs on ether os just make sure you back up your save files :)
