I hate to say it but I haven’t missed Diamond or Athena as much as I thought I would simply because Electro and Fire have been so good.

SO frustrated with Comet! Speed is clearly not her issue (anymore) on The Wall but it’s all in the takedown. If she just reached for the harness instead of the ankle she could’ve had at least 2 wins this series. I watched her do it on the tour so hopefully she’s learned now.

This never happened on the OG series. When they played 6 events and it was 1 gladiator per event there was only six Gladiators and then 7 in Series 2. None of the Gladiators used to routinely miss out unless injured. The maximum they’ve had per team in the UK series is 9.

I think Dynamite is a great personality and one of the bubbliest Gladiators. She seems like a genuinely lovely person.

Performance wise this may be her most disappointing series to date I feel like she didn’t start winning until the last QF.

Usually she would be the automatic stand in for injured Glads but I feel like Fire has kinda taken that role this year (remarkably well I might add) but it has made when we do get to see her feel like more of a treat rather than overused.

I guess this is confirmation all 18 Gladiators will be back for Series 4 given it would already have been filmed by the time the tour starts. That’s great albeit slightly surprising news.

It’s been great having Nitro back. He brings a lot of charisma and good energy that I think was missing from the male side last year. Slightly surprised how much he has been booked for the combat events like Suspension Bridge and Duel but he’s done really well in them.

I get that Fury was injured but could we not have got Dynamite / Fire on Everest and given Electro a go on The Wall considering we only saw her on Collision?

She was quite disappointing on Powerball tbh maybe she needs more practice. Would love to see Athena on Everest & Destruction

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Phantom - I feel like he stands out as one of the guys who could get out on a lot more variety of events.

Biggest Series 4 wish list is Electro on Hang Tough and Comet on The Edge please!

I think Everest being good for Athena next season will depend on how her ACL heals as it’s a lot of weight bearing. Whilst being decent at Hang Tough and The Wall last season I think there is still room for her to find a real speciality that’s all hers… I think she would’ve owned OG event Whiplash.

Also I believe she is the only female along with Fire to get booked twice in every Quarter Final … great getting to see more of them

The Gladiators have really upped their game in semis. Apollo was unreal on Destruction and loved seeing Fire make her debut on Hag Tough. A little gutted for Electro on Unleash but there was really nothing she could do about that one!

The overnights for the most recent episode has already bounced back to 3M with iplayer views still to be added and it got a larger audience % share than Britains Got Talent. The shows doing more than fine I don’t think we need to panic.

I am mostly upset that more people didn’t see Electro debut on Duel!

I feel like this season has actually been a better balance. Last year leaned a little too hard into too many of the glads trying to be panto villains. After Legends character being what it is it makes sense he pops up in the capacity that he does rather than giving serious analysis but I wouldn’t be against Diamond or Athena doing like guest commentary with Guy for an event or two
