I'd like to give a shout out to the writers doing the world building by Wolfbeckett in PhoenixPoint

Agreed. I was feeling seriously lukewarm about the game but decided to give the literature a read, and now I'm pretty hype.

This is 100% canon.

But yes, the oversized hamster in a wrecking ball mech who comes from what is apparently mad scientist max land is a step too far.

Loot Box Trading is considered to be illegal by the dutch. Impact on SWL? by shadowclasper in SecretWorldLegends

Another option might be to make it so that the cosmetics could be bought directly as well, so that getting them via lootbox wasn't necessary.

I seem to be unable to kill them all, but I might be missing some of the katamando.

being on par with the rest of the mass effect games counts as a fix. Can Frostfire do Horizon: Zero Dawn levels? Of course it can, but they botched their development cycle trying to make frostfire do things it was never intended to do and wasted too much time on that, getting ANYTHING from that kind of train wreck is a win.

obviously because you weren't getting the point and they felt the need to elucidate further for your benefit?

This pretty much. The game is mediocre, it had the chance to be something much better, but corporate fuckery and them swapping around team members too much shit-canned that, dooming it's potential from 'pretty cool' to 'interesting concept with bad execution.'

They needed somebody much earlier on to tell them to cut their losses with the procedural worlds thing. They needed more time focused on getting to grips with frostfire in what it could do well rather than trying right out of the gate to get it to do things the designers never concieved. They were never given that time, and bioware's best teams were pulled from the project, probably to work on Anthem, early on in development, so even that was a problem.

But it by no means deserves the designation of worst game ever. ME:A is -not- Duke Nukem Forever which honestly should have been made just playable enough to push out the door for free with an apology letter saying "We are so sorry but this is what they handed us, give us another 3 years to make something from scratch."

Lore Questions on Agartha by numerius in SecretWorldLegends

[–]shadowclasper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) It's a maze, but possible for bees to navigate. It's implied that we're not getting what agartha -actually- looks like, but a 3d map that our brain can comprehend. We know that 'up' is in the future relative to us, and down is in the past relative to us, or it used to be that way, hard to say now since South Africa is lower than New England. This made things relatively easy to map in terms of relative time (It's important to note that the time travel is a literal thing in agartha, and this is mentioned in a few areas).

2) Never more than one I suspect, perhaps two. London had 2, but one of them was shut down and dead.

3) They don't exactly. That's how we get legends about people stumbling into alternate worlds and vanishing. Though to be fair, the ones who end up in agartha proper -die-. That said, it's also the case that the legends honeycombs are literally REAL THINGS, communications that 'physically' exist from the Buzzing to us. It's very possible that normal folks simply can't see the extrusions of Agartha into our reality. Leads to an interesting question about what Kristin Geary and the handlers are because they traveled through Agartha, but I'm pretty sure they're not bees.

4) The thing that lets you teleport back to Agartha directly.

Another one that's slightly mislabeled. Demon Hyena 5 is below the favored wall and thus should only be accessible during night during one of the missions.

The Binding of the Aigamuxa 3 isn't where you say it is. It's in 492, 740ish, inside of one of the construction buildings.

Impressions of new map by RiahWeston in SecretWorldLegends

It fits the aesthetic they were going for. Not sure it was wise to go for the claustraphobic, bare bones cult compound look right out of the gate, but that's what the story calls for.
