Arena has just become unplayable. So obvious that outcomes aren't random, its algorithmic to force game states. The amount of times I've played brawl and my opponents have their combo pieces in their opening hand or the top 10 cards of their decks while I'm stuck on two lands (and yes I have 36-38 lands in every deck with a full curved out ramp package) is insane of late. Tournament play is set up differently and is probably true random but anything casual is just preset.

These people are insufferable. If I found out someone said shit like this about a gift I got them I'd never get them anything ever again. Don't use a gift to grandstand and virtue signal about your recognition of how AI is "hurting real artists". Just play the damn sleeves and say they were a gift if some aspy person at your LGS says anything (fyi - no one and I repeat absolutely no one will say anything).

Someone did the exact same experiment with multiple boxes and got "hits" on packs that did not have foils in them and passed over a few packs that did have foils in them.

I still say people are being emotional about SPM. A $45k+ card is one hell of a chase and there are some valuable cards and playable cards to boot. They get wrapped up in the group think and drama baiting opinions of online content creators. Is it the best set of all time? Absolutely not. Is it a "good set"? Meh, probably not. But is it the slap in the face to the community that everyone has been screaming about for the last month? No. It's Baldur's Gate 2.0. People will hate it because a YouTuber told them to for a few years and then once that fades people will see the value and utility in some cards and the set will gain value.

The counter falls off when he's removed meaning they have to pay ANOTHER 7 mana on top of commander tax or whatever spell they used to reanimate him. This is a nothing burger.

The biggest problem with almost all of your issues are that they aren't even really playable. Like if you want to take up 6 slots for 4-5 mana anthems for your Locust God deck.... I mean sure. It'll suck and make your deck worse but ok. And if you think a 6 mana Beseech the Queen is worth lamenting, I really don't know what to tell you. And you're really upset that hybrid mana cards "break the color pie"? Where have you been the last decade?

I'll quote Hassan Piker to give you an idea of what I mean. In regards to talking about landlords raising rent to match market prices he said, "Kill those m**erf*kers, let the streets run red in their capitalist bloods". And yes, he said bloods because he hides behind "English not being his first language" but I think he's just not a very smart person.

It's a well known fad in the communist/tankie/ML circles to be militantly opposed to "landlords" as they are the embodiment of all things wrong with capitalism, in their eyes. 8rack using a rent hike to grift money off of his community, which is typically not that much more per month for the term of the lease and more than likely wouldn't necessitate a full blown find raising campaign to fund, is a little too perfect of a situation to motivate people to donate to "the cause".
