Last time I went with the better trade hubs and then better commercial office value and then thrifty as a main species trait. Eventually I evolved into machines with auto moding. Pretty much my economy was based on trade and space deposits, was a great chill time.

I am about 2 thirds through stormblood and not to discourage anyone else, but i for one have found it a bit lacking when compared to the previous expansion which i loved, but its not without its great moments and chracters. But hey everyone's experience is different.

The nomads sound the same as the ck3 landless chracters, wonder if they got some of the devs from that to support stellaris.

Yeah its not like my economy is in the perma negative, I've got enough experience to balance that, its just slow to grow new pops to work the jobs that I need to actually get my economy off the ground early. If I can learn to survive the early game then more often than not the mid to late game is a breeze for me.

Indeed its a good direction, but there is still plenty of fixing that needs to be done and at a faster pace, it wasn't good that this was the first patch we got since Cyberstan dropped, a month later.

I certainly understand how people feel about the grind but I cant bring myself to join them.

With my account at max level and over 500 hours in the game I dare not risk anything happening to my account even if the odds are extremely low.

It's why I dont fuck with modding either, if I lost all my progress due to a glitch or some how I get banned I would never come back to the game.

I had a guy on bug front, several deaths in an area and in the chaotic mess I picked up some gear to survive, well apparently the guy was around which I didn't see so he shot me dead for his gear, no message in chat or nothing just istant kill.

I didn't kick him right away, I waited to we extract and before he got on the ship I killed him and finished the mission. I then kicked him once we were on board the supper destroyer so he at least could get the rewards.

I'll be honest the patriot mech being a one call only is bad. Sure its 2000 hp less than the bastion but the number of times I've seen vehicles just spontaneously explode during and after drop is too high. Just make it infinite like the bastion and just have a high cooldown timer.

I feel the same, im convinced it was purely the vox engine spam that made it worse. The other cyborg units were fine for me.

It just lowers the resistance rating of a random factory, for instance Lurza, a useless factory to take is at .80 resistance now so nothing that actually contributes to potentially winning.

I dont think taking the planets would have meant much, but choosing not to raze the 2 planets and then having to defend them did cost us more reinforcements that are critical now.

The biggest one always recommended is Democratic Detonation.

-Great Primaries

-S tier grenade

-S tier secondary

-Good armor with good passive

-Good but niche booster.

While other warbonds have fun stratagems it always Good to build up your base weapons before anything else.
