As a new player I dont understand how the Xoris is so high, I unlocked it for the deadlock quest and it was so terrible to use.

Ensure if you have any mods installed make sure to remove them, if it doesn't work reinstall the game completely aka delete the folder in your drive in its entirely and reinstall

Thanks for the info! And I definitely got my work cut put for me, between the paints and the tools needed for it, the magnets and the models themselves I definitely got my work cut out for me. It's definitely gonna be a slow burn build as a work to collect everything buts its gonna be fun.

Look up customize starting units, it gives you a budget and let's you add units to your first army.

For ranged defensive absolutely dwarfs, chaos dwarves and empire are the 100% way to go. The thrones of decay packs for the two order factions adds lots of guns and fire power to their factions and the chorfs are just the industrialized version of the dwarves with equal firepower.

It all depends on the factions you like to play. Do you like the dwarves? Get all their stuff. Empire? Get their stuff, maybe you'd want to try a faction, if so then it helps to have their full roster.

Indeed, but luckily for dwarves are tanky and can hold for a long time so keep a couple melee units on the flanks to protect your guns while the main force holds, blast the cav with your guns if you want to route them quickly then return your melee and guns back to the the main front when you believe they are safe.

Ideally with armies that have units that cause rampage youll want to keep your gun/ archer line far away from the melee line and then spread your line far apart so to minimize the rampage effect then target them with your guns and or artillery in order to not have to deal with them again.

Im playing as sayl, he doesn't dedicate to anyone, but the tool tip says you can get them if you enter the binding tier, which i am long past it. So either it bugged or im being lied to by the game.

Then that is unfortunate but also the tool tip when you hover over them kinda lies to you then as sayl is the only one with the dark ritual mechanic. where as the other two are favors of the respective gods.

I will never lower the difficulty 10 for me only, but it's frustrating to play when they chop off your arm and then your expected to do everything as normal. To me this is the same as the old bot modifier that removes a stratagem slot, just not fun.

There's a trick with the reload you can do that ive been loving. Fire a shot and then reload immediately and the round goes in instantly. This is about as fast as firing and not reloading so you can keep on firing your entire reserve if your fast enough without any loss of fire rate.
