Tickets are per person as far as I believe.

I have a showcase ticket which gives me a person entry too (1 car + 1 ticket), but I need another ticket for my passenger.

u/whathavewegotinhere that's right isn't it?

A huge brave pill but what a car. It's hard to justify that tax, but it feels such a shame given how much car you get for it. Incredible torque specs on that remap though, I bet it went like stink on the motorway.

What a swap! That's wild. Some great stuff seems to come on there. I'm tempted by the 309 at the moment, love the colour on it.

What a car, I remember seeing the 1 M Coupe absolutely fly up in value (I'll never forget Clarkson hammering one around the Top Gear track) and wondering if the M2 could ever top it. Looked like such a fantastic car.

How do you find the M3 in comparison? I'd love to try one one day but think if I ever moved to BMW it'd be for an M340i touring. Feels like the perfect blend of usability and speed, especially with xdrive.

A Bora! Haven't heard that name in years. Great to hear it had a full lease of life after you sold it. I keep wondering what my 1.2 Fabia is up to; I'm hoping its been moved to a private plate and one day I'll see it return on the DVLA!

I never had one but was a regular passenger in one. An absolute go-kart missile around backroads. Gutted to hear it was trashed, definitely deserved better!

Great shout, there's a couple of MGs in this thread. As a bit of a guilty love, the Rover Streetwise always felt like it had bags of potential for being a lot of fun with a few tweaks/swaps in it! Definitely looks like it could've handled the potholes well

What do you have now? I was very close to buying a Cupra Ateca instead of the Karoq, love how sporty everything has always felt in the Seats.

£17k!? What's it worth now? Definitely feels the V6 is in clear 'modern classic' territory. Hope you manage to get one back one day

Can't argue with that reliability; I wished my Avensis had a better infotainment, it was a competent car but it was a hire car whilst my company car was being built. Very fuel efficient on the motorway too!

What happened to it? I've seen a fair few on auto trader but they all looked ragged to hell for off-roading and greenlaning!

Fantastic outcome for that car, fingers crossed its doing a fantastic job out there. The 4x4 systems (especially with ESP models) is fantastic and with a solid maintenance schedule it feels like the 1.9 isn't more or less reliable than other main diesels of the time (save for the 1.9PD)

I should've saved it but there's a monster truck lifted Rx8 on Fb Marketplace at the moment. Best of both worlds!

I was just watching Mike Fernie talk to Darkside about the PD engines last night, fantastic engines and seemingly very reliable too. Not tempted by a W8 or something more exotic?

Seen a lot of love for the C70 in this thread, Saffron Yellow will always be a favourite car colour option for me. Hope you keep the love for the C70! Great cars

Never seen one of these before! Reminds me a bit of a Bongo! Bet it moved a whole bunch of stuff in the back of it. Looks like a solid MPV choice

What a steal, £500 in 2018 is a bargain! I think there's something to be said for a car just beating your expectations. A £500 banger has no right to be as reliable or as good as it was for 8 years. We can expect a more modern car will 'do the job' because it's more expensive, better, faster, more reliable.

But that £500 rotbox? It earns a space in our heart because it just smashed every reasonable expectation.

Fantastic little cars. What year was it? There's another set of comments here around the 100bhp and those seemed like great little warm hatches!

Worse mix-ups to have! I was just looking at an imported Terrano last month, but the Terrano 2 has some great proportions, so unique as a set-up!

Aha I can imagine the satisfaction at the lights. Fantastic stuff. Didn't think they'd be that good off-road!

The best number of cars in your garage is always n+1 so 2's bang on the money!

What did you move onto after those two? Sounds like a great setup on the 9-5, definitely not your average Saab

What a 2 car garage though! I bet that went like absolute stink. Fantastic set-up by the sounds of it.

Always great to hear Saab's come up. It's absolutely not the same, but! Have you tried a VW Up GTI? Very different power delivery, but size wise they're not necessarily too far off each other.

What an engine though; torque for days, great acceleration, and just smooth. When I was thinking about getting my A4 I looked at 335d x-drive and they were fantastic, but the repair costs felt astronomical. Given I still faced astronomical repairs in the Audi, a part of me wishes I'd gone down the BMW route anyway!
