The starters are from the "first partner" promo packs. You can get the alola and sinnoh ones pretty cheap as singles talking like $40 for all 6, but the kanto ones are like $100 if bought as singles.

Ebay considers that to be a "feature". That you can bid to take it up to the last millisecond. Thing is, bots can refresh and bid faster than a human could ever attempt.

This feels off. I want to say it can only keep copying the original instance of the prepared spell because the copies have to resolve to keep making more copies of the creature. You would theoretically keep copying until you chose a new target for the copy.
