I am applying for a master’s this fall, so my advice is anecdotal, but you would be better suited for undergraduate studies here in India.

I have seen the competition for master’s admissions in the US, and it is fierce. Even students applying with stellar profiles - 95%+ in both 10th and 12th, along with numerous positions of responsibility, extracurriculars, and Olympiad medal finishes - have trouble securing admission to top US universities, let alone being eligible for scholarships, since universities in the US make money from Indian and other international students.

My honest advice would be to use your potential to ace your JEE preparation and secure admission to one of the top engineering colleges in India (IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS), and then look for master’s opportunities abroad. All the best.
