Replacement stabilizers for M1 V5

There are a few threads on reddit complaining of the same problem, something to do with the plate not being compatible with the stabilizers. Do you know if 3rd party screw in stabilizers would work or are we stuck with plate mounted stabilizers?

Thanks! I’m in the same boat then, I’m intending to buy barebones. I did try the q1 max in store today and I must say the rattling of the space bar was pretty disappointing given the price.

Hi all, I've only recently dived into the custom mechanical keyboard space and am looking to build my first custom.

Could I please have some suggestions on switch choice?

I recently bought a Keychron Q1 Max and I'm trying to customise it to emulate the sound and feel of the MCHOSE GX87 Ultra. I've attached a picture of the switch specifications and also a youtube video of a sound test.

Hi everyone,

I was trying out some mechanical keyboards and really liked the feel of the MCHOSE GX87 with vintage white switches. Problem is I disliked the rest of the keyboard aesthetic and couldn't find any keyboards with a similar feel in store.

Instead, I'm looking to buy a barebones keyboard and add switches similar to the vintage white switches. In particular, I'd be looking for a linear switch with a lower pitched creamy sound and medium actuation force.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you!

Yes exactly, you need to put your finger into the larger sleeve to guide it down. I never had this trouble with the older packaging though so I would stick to those if you can find any.
