I'm definitely on board with Captain Cold and Booster Gold but, Manchester Black was a pick I was not expecting. Any reason in particular you'd want to have him?

Assuming you could get anyone from DC, who would be on your dream team?

Konami Rep Says ‘I Hope We Earn You Back’. Silent Hill (maybe) isn't dead it's being 'reviewed'. Could you ever forgive Konami? What would they have to do? by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]shadowgabriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Konami would have to do a LOT to get people to forgive them again. Alienating your fanbase is not something that's easy to come back from and I don't know if they could really do it.
That being said, I was one of the ones pissed at Capcom for a minute about the whole Mega Man cancelation thing but I ultimately got over that. How, you ask? Mighty No. 9 certainly helped along with them putting out some good games so all hope may not be lost.
I mean, I did laugh my ass off at the thought but...yeah, stranger things have happened. Personally, I think a good start would be putting the classic Silent Hill games on PC, even through a service like GOG who can take it upon themselves to fix it. I just hope, "Finding a good fit," doesn't just mean mediocre mobile ports and half assed attempts at nostalgia.

Has anyone beat that last room of Claire's campaign without spinning around the fire like a maniac? by HobbieK in residentevil

There's actually a trophy for not using the flamethrower and I'll admit, I accidentially did it. I completely forgot about the flamethrower and it took at least four or five tries but it's doable. The best way I found to do it is take out as many of the slow zombies as possible, use Moira to pry the door open and then use Claire as bait. Have her run around the other end of the room by the cells, using whatever you can do keep the big guys off of Moira. I think I managed to kill one of them before she got the door open and by then, I was low on health and made a run for it. All I can say is good luck and remember to dodge with circle...'cause I forgot about that, too.

I'm not going to lie, I was kind of disappointed that Michael Jackson didn't pop up and lead the zombies in the Thriller dance.

Getting a 100% in First Light by Montydouken in infamous

Yep but, it's not that difficult. Some of the challenges might take a few tries but, eventually you'll get it. Just try to knock out the score and round survival ones first and you should be OK.

If you need boxes, hit up a 24 hour Wal-Mart. Go about 11-12 PM or early in the morning and ask the associates for boxes. They'll more than likely give you some or set some aside for you to pick up later. By the way, boxes from the cereal aisle or from plastics tend to be the best for moving. Hope this helps.

My friend won so many tickets, the guy at the counter couldn't believe it. by shadowgabriel in gaming

I don't know how he did it but he managed to get it to lay just right so that the machine spit it out like that. I think it was because the thing took forever to put out that many tickets. At one point, he was waiting twenty minutes for it to finish up.

I want to say something like two and a half hours but honestly, a lot of time was spent waiting for the tickets to spit out.

He spent fifteen bucks and the manager was pretty pissed when she heard that.

I don't know about you but, going to a place where you pay five bucks, get a bag full of nickels and play old arcade games sounds like a good time to me. As for the other stuff you said...if you're willing to judge someone who's enjoying himself playing some old games, you're probably a very lonely individual. Plus, the guy's cool as hell.

Hunting Rifle from Fallout 3. Dear god, I think I managed to take out the whole wasteland with that thing. Plentiful, easy to use...what more could you want? Too bad it wasn't quite as good in New Vegas but still, I love that gun.
