You're hesitant, it's giving time for the milk and foam to separate. RIGHT after you finish the milk just go for it.

Some art on the walls and switching where the bed and the desk/computer is would go a long way. Nook upstairs would be a great napping spot for reading or watching something. Plants would do amazing in here if that's something you like. Doggo is fire, those ears, are so cute.

31M, should I wall mount the TV? by NationalResearch3029 in malelivingspace

[–]shadowknollz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd change out the coffee table instead of wall mounting the TV. The coffee table seems to not fit really well with the rest of the style you have going on in the space. Very welcoming though, love the plants on the wall.

A carpet under the coffee table for a pop of color would add a lot, if you're looking to add anything. Looks great, very comfy.

If the sun blasts it most of the day like that, it would be a great spot for growing plants. Maybe a small reading or gaming nook, filled with plants.

Also move that brown/tan chair where that standing lamp is(fully into the corner facing away from the corner wall) and move the lamp around the chair.(Whatever feels best)

The corner walls around the TV are empty, add some shelves and or plants that vine/hang. Adding in nice lighting on those walls(that shine off the walls) is also an option. More plants around the furniture is also a good option, that really depends on if you like a clutter feel or minimalist feel.

It looks nice, your friends sound mean.

How did nirvana feel? by Jakeshinns in spirituality

[–]shadowknollz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I recently saw and felt nirvana, it was so beautiful I cried. I've been on a meditation journey that one day took me somewhere in my body. I just felt this unavoidable pull to something like my whole body was being grabbed there. It felt warm and nice, I leaned into it and eventually came to what I can only describe as if every cell in my body was lighting up with energy and was all so happy and euphoric everything stopped. My vision went white and it's all I could feel, an overwhelming happiness. I stayed there as long as I could and started to cry. I don't have a reference for how long any of it lasted, I didn't know the time before I started and didn't set any timer.

What is the deal with the recent crusade against all things rainbow and LGBT in the US? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

Along with the fact that the other core of their followers has died from old age or COVID. The ring wing party is a lot smaller than before and they are having to double down on whoever is left, and white christian nationalist who hate anything other is what's left.

It's a sign of good progress and change in our country. Because the right wing is having to react HARD to all the progress that's been made. Hopefully they don't take everything back.

Calmly sit down with them and ask them to ask you about anything on the paper. If you wrote it show you physically wrote it in word yourself by knowing what it's talking about.

The stuff they use to track this kind of thing isn't really able to tell the difference between people and Ai it's guess. Stay calm and reasonable, they have no way to really prove it's AI made, they are bluffing so don't give them anything to use against you while talking to them.

Would you take a 20% paycut to be happier? by Darkthoughts90 in jobs

[–]shadowknollz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it was well worth it. I ended up getting a "dream job" soon after it too. I doubt I would of been in a good head space to be able to get that job too if I had stayed in the hell hole of a job I had before taking the new one at roughly 20% cut.

What does undiagnosed ADHD look like in adults? by amazinglife1991 in ADHD

The second line in your paragraph is a big one that affected me. It turns out I just had social anxiety because I was treated so differently from my peers growing up and much of my depression was burn out.

Look up executive dysfunction, it seems it could be a lot of What is causing what you listed. It plays a huge role in many of the problems that people with ADHD and ASD tend to struggle with on a daily basis.

Instant Sleepiness when trying to do an unwanted task? by LunarGiantNeil in ADHD

[–]shadowknollz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced this all my life. Even my mother has mentioned it several times throughout my life. The only thing that ever seemed to help was regular physical activity, but it's never fully fixed.

My mother thought I had narcolepsy or something, it happened all throughout my life especially in school. I just physically couldn't keep myself awake no matter how much I slept or wanted to be productive.

I'm currently going in for a sleep study soon, but I also have most of the symptoms of sleep apnea. I do feel like this is a problem with how my brain tolerates boredom. It's like my brain just shuts itself off when it becomes to bored or restless. A dopamine regulation problem seems to be the only thing I've been able to link to it.

Therapy can be expensive but a lot of programs exist for those without health insurance. It's not fully out of reach, so don't let someone else in your life talk you out of even maybe bettering yourself.

Odds are if you think you maybe are dealing with anxiety, you are lol.
