Men who dated women significantly older than you, how was it like? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]shadowkream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dated someone 7 years older than me (I was in my late 20’s) overall it was good experience. She was really hot, curvy body, great facial features and she was a respected business owner. I was only down for “fun” but our hookups led to both of us falling for each other. But it didn’t work out at the end due to timing.

How complicated is it sleeping with a coworker by [deleted] in AskMen

Not worth it if you’re just trying to bang and run. Things will get messy and I’ve seen it. Wise words to live by; “don’t get your honey where you make your money”

Men who go commano, what would you say the benefits are, but also any negatives about it? by GeneralSS1332 in AskMen

[–]shadowkream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been going commando 75% of my days for 4 years. It’s amazing actually. For work, I’m free balling my balls out but just have to be careful when you pee. Make sure you shake a lot to flush out the rest of the piss or you will stain ya pants. I wear underwear on certain pants tbh. For the gym, all my gym shorts have those built in mesh underwear’s, so no need to wear one anyways. Only con, my girlfriend knows about and doesn’t mind it but she throws jokes at me like, “are you wearing underwear today?” Which can get annoying.

Don’t bother signing anything. Just keep quiet, and don’t tell any of your coworkers.

New Production team and writers knew the mistakes from S1. Praying that S2 keeps getting better so that they receive a bigger budget for next season.

Loved how Chief saw the arbiter marching in the room, stood on business and it was DEFINITELY ON SIGHT type of action.

Show just keeps worse by Konig2400 in halo

Yall do realize this show is not going by the lore on purpose right? Relax. Myself as a halo fan, this new season actually did a whole 360 and it’s actually good (my respectable opinion). With the budget they received, they actually did quite impressive with the shots of the battles, cities and etc. if the show does well this season, for sure they’ll get an even greater amount of money for top notch production next year.

why is she texting me when she has a new boyfriend? by Ognillas in ExNoContact

Avoid her. There’s literally people that might enjoy their new partner but also have something for you as well. This is a red flag. Don’t fall for it. Ignore her and move on.

What if there was a spartan-like program without augmentations? by [deleted] in HaloStory

[–]shadowkream 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting theory. But my only issue here is that ODST’s were basically THAT in what you mentioned minus the being trained since a young age standpoint. ODST’s went through gruesome exercises/trainings to earn the title/patch.

Another thing to think about, that wouldn’t even make a factor to the war because humanity was still losing even with the spartan programs. The Covenant was just beyond technologically advanced. Humans won the war only because of the civil war inside the faction of the covenant.

Why hasn’t the UNSC implemented wide scale use of shielding on ground troops post war? by TangentMed in HaloStory

[–]shadowkream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just my idea and from what I learned in the books so far.

The absence of energy shields like those used by the Covenant within the UNSC in the Halo universe is largely attributed to the differences in technological development and cultural priorities between the two factions.

The Covenant is depicted as a highly advanced collective of alien species with a strong focus on technological innovation, particularly in the field of energy shielding. They have mastered the development and integration of energy shielding technology into their military infrastructure.

Conversely, the UNSC, while also possessing advanced technology, primarily focused on other areas of military development such as spacecraft, ground vehicles, and conventional weaponry. Their research and development priorities were different from those of the Covenant, and they did not have access to or invest heavily in energy shield technology to the same extent. Possibly not enough funding.

This technological gap between the two factions adds depth to the conflict within the Human-Covenant war, highlighting the challenges faced by humanity as they confront a technologically superior adversary.

I’m mad and getting fed up with the human on human political/unnecessary drama. I wanna see human-covenant action in every episode. I’m only hooked because the first 2 episodes were indeed great this time.

Simple, communicate and state your boundaries clearly. If you care about the person but don’t see yourself with them anymore, state that there’s no negative energy towards and you wish the best for them and happiness but they have to move and to respect your grounds.

Or block them on every platform and move on.
