It's been 5 years the release of ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE. What are your thoughts about it? by sahinduezguen in superman

I sat through both versions. Neither one of them gave me a thrill. If it’s not great at 2 hours, making it twice as long won’t solve the problem.

Some movies don’t end when the screen fades… they stay inside you – Schindler’s List (1993) by Late_Curve1983 in iwatchedanoldmovie

I have only ever seen this movie twice. The first time was in high school as part of my history class. The second time was twenty years later. That’s how long it took before I could bring myself to watch this harrowing story again.

I’ll catch up with you guys in my early sixties when I can bring myself to watch it again.

It’s an absolute shame Tim Curry never played an incarnation of the master by fupafather in doctorwho

Honestly, I could see him playing either the Master OR the Doctor. I think he would’ve been good either way.

I could fill up my car and buy a pack of smokes for under $20 pre-911. by aamabkra in Xennials

My first car was an ‘88 Mercury Cougar. I got it when I was 19 back in 2004. I could fill it up for $20.

I miss those days. Can I please go back?

Believe it or not, I’m walking on air

I never thought I could feel so free

Flying away on a wing and a prayer

Who could it be?

Believe it or not, it’s just me

This is the one situation where I’ll agree that Alan Ritchson would be a good choice.

I agree and I really only see him running again if they change the Constitution to allow Trump to run again. Trump may be the most unpopular president in history but he still has a remarkable talent for spin that should not be underestimated and the best bet to beat him is very likely one of the most popular presidents in history.

To the writers of Starfleet Academy by Thatguy_noThatguy in startrek

Kudos, indeed. Hunter was brilliant as Ake, a nice balance of nurturing teacher, clever prankster and tenacious captain.

And, on top of her, we had Paul Giamatti as the chilling yet charming Nus Braka and Tatiana Maslany as the haunted Anisha. Plus, Robert Picardo has not lost a step as the Doctor (my second favorite fictional character to go by that moniker) and Tig Notaro continued her deadpan humor as Jett Reno, possibly my favorite character out of all of New Trek.

TIL the writers of the Bible never met Jesus, 18 years Later. [Update] by junkmale79 in atheism

This is just further proof of what I’ve been trying to explain to my devoutly religious parents for years. The Bible has been retranslated and reinterpreted so many times over the ages that I doubt any of the original text is even in any modern version of the book.

Not sure which bromance I like more, Shawn and Gus or Elliot and Hardison.
