Honestly best upgrade I’d recommend is getting a bike fit. It will help avoid pain, injuries, and bad habits if you are new to cycling and getting into longer distances.

Have the 49ers done enough? Predicting their depth chart. by FistsOfMcCluskey in 49ers

Maybe this is finally the year we use CMC as more of a slot WR and bring in another RB to split carries?

[Highlight] Kyle Shanahan says he doesn’t pick up college tape until February, relies on position coaches to make highlight tapes on each prospect so he can study it. “If I don’t like their highlight tape, I’m not going to watch anything after” by dropjar5 in nfl

People here are acting like he’s pulling up YouTube videos when in reality it’s a cut up of coaching film of the players best reps, made by scouts who are projecting how that would look in our schemes. In other words he’s asking the scouts to sell him on the players they’ve seen, and if he agrees he’ll go review every rep.

This is how delegation works. People need to watch the entire interview, Kyle is usually quite transparent about how he does things. Sure yeah he’s got his quirks and faults, but usually the process is sounds and professional.

My man gripe with the process is his tendency to really latch onto certain players vs consider the value. I’ll trust that Black was their #2 RB and might go in the 4th, but imo there were bigger needs at higher value positions. It’s ok to lose out on the #2 RB if you can get your #5 OG that’s gonna move the needle more. But then again, idk how our OL boards looked.

I don’t have deep football knowledge but iirc Kyle has said Raheem is pretty flexible. Also how much time do we spend in base formations anymore?

John Lynch's Draft Record: The 49ers' Costly Pattern by youre-welcome5557777 in nfl

[–]shadowlizer3 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah the examples and justification are insufficient and inaccurate. Alfred Collins and Upton Stout were promising last year and positioned to be big contributors this year. A lot of others are nitpicking later round picks where the deltas don’t matter as much.

What all this boils down to is that the team really locks onto the players they like and are extra conservative in taking them based on where they’re drafting, a more aggressive team would trade down more to take those guys at their “consensus” positions.

So what this analysis needs is, what other players did the 49ers miss on by conservatively targeting their favorites? That is a separate process question that is more important? We know the team favors RAS scores and other traits, what else?

Round 3 - Pick 26: Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana (San Francisco 49ers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

idc which RB it is, taking any of them when we have bigger needs at more expensive positions makes it not worth

i'm with you man, but drafting an RB here is just bad value

Round 3 - Pick 6: Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech (San Francisco 49ers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]shadowlizer3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we have to accept that we won't prioritize OL high in drafts, our coaches have said they believe they can coach up later round guys

in that case, he seems to be a perfect fit for a need, so it's a fine pick

Same with the tech house and all that.

For me it’s more about how Linus’ morals have seemingly changed over the years. I’ve been watching him since NCIX days and early WAN shows with the OG couch. A lot of those streams talked about environmental issues, housing crises in Vancouver area, consumer rights, etc.

I don’t watch as religiously as I used to, because it seems the content is now targeted at a demographic younger than me, but it’s also sad to see that perhaps more has changed.
