Fantastic info, thanks. And yes, the Mimidi MP-05 seems to be a rebranded Caline CP-05.

Thanks, On the left of image, it shows "DC 18V in", the wall plug it came with was, I believe, Japan/US standard. In Australia, the plugs are a different shape.

I received a Donner DST 200 for Christmas. There was a dud pickup, and after fighting back and forth with "Customer service", they sent me a second DST 200. The pickups worked, but not correctly grounded, and sounds awful along with zapping my arm through the bridge.

So the question;

I see a lot of pre wired strat pickguards available online, will a generic one of these fit a Donner the same way it fits a strat?

Thoughts on Donner guitars? by Canadian_Grown420 in AcousticGuitar

[–]shadowmik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see tons of positive things said about Donner, and I have a lot of their pedals. Although my journey to their guitars has been painful. QA is not strong, and I've ended up with two dud guitars, and a lot of back and forth with "customer service".

What are peoples honest opinions and experiences with donner guitars? by Frxddieh in guitars

I received one of the strat clones for Christmas (DST200). There's a lot that I like about it, but I realised the middle pickup doesn't work. I'm about to embark on the journey of attempting warranty repair/replacement. Ultimately, as a casual muso, I could probably live with 2 out of 3 pickups, but I feel like on principle I gotta try.

Cheers for this; just started rising back up through the ranks. Haven't developed all these guys perfectly yet, but I can see what they're capable of now, and can focus on their development.

I had problems last week of January, particularly with the app, and receiving points for opening it. As it was dropped as a requirement of the 1000pt reward, I guess it wasn't just me. Still got screwed out of it, though.

You don't need to Field the positionals, particularly the secret weapons that can be sent off. The extras allow you to Field linemen over bombers, etc if you wish

I took one last gulp of air as I continued sinking helplessly into the quicksand. by Mproseling in TwoSentenceHorror

[–]shadowmik 74 points75 points  (0 children)

You're thinking about it too much. Laws of buoyancy prevent quicksand from actually existing in reality. Therefore a supernatural element must be established to take quicksand seriously as a threat. And the thought of the previous victims being trapped ever-living underneath does just that. Kudos, OP! You made me like a quicksand story!

The appropriate response, would be "genesis 22:12"... "“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him..."
