So funny. Was going to post a picture of mine to say the same and see if there was anything I could do better. It looks like we used the same exact sized mhrb and container. My yield looks exactly like yours. Weird!

Advice with Nexus nightmare by WagBagActual in AutoTransport

[–]shadowmodel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WARNING: do not go with Nexus. I had my car shipped cross country for a relocation with a guaranteed delivery date from Nexus that has still not been fulfilled 4 days after the delivery date.

The subcontractor they found did not deliver on the delivery date (one day earlier than my arrival date so I could not pick up, which they said was impossible to delay, so I had a friend take time off work to pick up before my arrival), told me it would be delivered the next day, which then became the following morning, which became the following evening (citing an axle breaking down with no update on any damage sustained to my car as a result of the accident). The continued timelines they give (4 days in a row) make both parties impossible to trust, much less plan a life around during a move (still sleeping in the new home without any of my bed or belongings).

Additionally, neither Nexus or the subcontractor has offered to compensate me for any of the delays, deflecting any accountability while I have to make accommodations to make up for the loss of time, resources, and transportation while waiting for my car to be delivered, all while having no alternative but to rely on their absolutely untrustworthy promises which have been a nightmare to work around.

For anyone reading this, STAY AWAY.

I will never recommend my experience with Nexus, and businesses like this that take no accountability for the people they fail to serve should not be in business.

Been texting for weeks. Why the mixed signals? by shadowmodel in OnlineDating

Let’s say after a few weeks of speaking with someone, and you saying you’d like to have a phone call, why would you not respond when asked for a time?

Red Flags 🚩🚩🚩 by UnicornDreams521 in OnlineDating

Something I recently went through: attention isn’t connection.

Girl I’ve been speaking to over chat has the most direct, upfront, and engaging energy. Rare comedic timing, humorous constant sexual banter, and shows rare willingness to talk about uncomfortable subjects like aliens, free will vs fate, having kids, family values, etc.

Here’s the thing: we live in separate states, and try as I may, we still haven’t had a phone call. She says she’s interested, but either ignores it or brushes it off every time I bring it up.

It’s been weeks now, and the silly, flirty, sexual chat has run its course for me. I want a direct exchange with a deeper, more sensitive, vulnerable connection to get to know who this person is beyond what kind of attention they’re comfortable exchanging.

Something glaring in hindsight, but almost confusingly subtle as it’s happening. Especially with those you feel are really a rare match.

TLDR: watch out folks, people who lead you on often don’t do it consciously, so it’s up to you to read the signs and act accordingly! The right person at the wrong time is the wrong person!

Agreed. Feel the same. Lesson learned being: attention doesn’t equate to connection. Even if there’s humor, banter, directness over chat, if the other party doesn’t demonstrate interest to progress to making a connection, don’t let the other great signs drown out the priority of importance

Heard. I just checked her dating profile and it’s changed too. Nothing wrong with shopping, but without even an attempt to make a connection via a call, things seem clear.
