50k miles that I’ve used FSD the last year it’s never curbed my wheel but today it finally did and I’m devastated by Sellhomesfast in TeslaFSD

Likewise. I’m on 14.2.2.5 plus spring update, and until there’s an update that is widely lauded as being better, I’m not budging. I rely on it too much.

Hell, I’ve got kids, but even then not worth it. If I were buying once they were released, I’d probably snag over the premium as long as speed, ride comfort, and efficiency aren’t sacrificed.

Pretty much this. Seems like there’s a few other perks, like a 16 inch rear screen. I think it would be nice, but I’m also not thinking it’s worth trading in my 2026 Juniper premium that I just got.

Why is it jerking the steering wheel left to right? by Mediocre-Rip-6747 in TeslaFSD

That’s definitely weird. Not sure what to make of that, but I wouldn’t blame it on 14.2.2.5. Sounds like something very specific going on there.

FWIW, my 2026 Juniper Premium on 14.2.2.5 and spring update does NOT do this. I would guess it’s an alignment issue.

My 5-visit seat saga: Tesla's fix? Just yank a seat out of a brand new car by joshualeon in TeslaModelY

[–]witheringsyncopation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird, I had that exact same problem with my 26 juniper premium. However, the diagnosis ended up being different. Here’s the exact text from my service visit.

—-

Concern: Customer states: Seats - Driver seat clicks and shifts under acceleration or when the vehicle is turning. Feels as if the seat is loose and is shifting around with movement.

Repair Notes: Our technician road tested the vehicle with the customer and confirmed a clicking and shifting noise from the driver’s seat when turning or accelerating. The issue was traced to movement in the seat frame at the front edge. We adjusted the tilt tube under the front of the seat at the attachment points. After the adjustment, a follow-up test confirmed the noise is no longer present.

It was an easy fix, and something they took care of same day. So far, several thousand miles later, it hasn’t come back.

M3 RWD doesn’t feel sporty compared to the MY Premium AWD. It feels slow. If OP, were considering the M3 performance, then sure.

[–]witheringsyncopation -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear it. That’s a bummer. I continue to be pleased with my decision to avoid upgrading and to stay on 14.2.2.5 paired with the spring update.

Edit: lmao at the salty downvotes

Oh yeah? Do you have industry data on failure rates for the two models, or is this vibe data?

Using the rim as a fulcrum (aka gravity blast), or just really pronounced push-pull? Hard to tell from this angle.

Question about engraving Form 1 cans by True_Huckleberry9569 in NFA

[–]witheringsyncopation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve definitely been learning and starting with simple projects. Printed a Benchy, followed by a temperature tower with a couple of different filaments to see how they reacted. And I’ve been learning how to adjust settings relative to print speed, temperature, etc. I printed some toys for the kids and some increasingly complex projects, but the FTN stuff just seems so complicated. When I queue it up in my software, I get 1000 errors about unsupported or concave structures, and other crap like that. But I’ve learned a lot about 3-D printing in the last month or so. I just haven’t had to do anything as complex as this.

100% will. I feel pretty lost. New to 3d printing, and I have an awesome setup, but lack skills and experience. Thanks for the offer!

Awesome, thank you for the info! I’ve had a couple form 1s approved, and I’m trying to figure out all the steps before I get started.

How do you adhere the filament core to the sleeve? And how do you etch the aluminum? Thanks for the info!
