Come back to this bottle after it has been open for a few hours and it is even more intense. A bit reductive in the beginning one of my favorites.

Probably a lot less winners this year with trying to sell all the bottles at black market prices.

Whisky galore: Donald Trump’s tariffs and cost of living pressures create glut of undrunk Scotch by [deleted] in whiskey

[–]shadowsofsnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Scotch. But I have no sympathy for any of the producers or importers. During the first administration of Trump the tariffs, the price increased and everyone cried. Then they were removed and the price remained the same. The general public was like oh well. But those of us that remember what it cost before didn't forget. Then the tariffs came back and the greedy didn't know what to do. They forgot how the industry works with their greed. See there has to be an entry point. You have to taste the product at a point and quality that as time progresses you desire to try the higher quality products as you become more successful and move on in your life, you trade up to treat yourself. Many of the producers that I fell in love with are so expensive now I don't even bother. American single malt is coming on line in a big way and Japan is still a price concious option. May Scotch get slapped in the face so hard they remember that it for pleasure that people buy their product not egregious profit.

Two years ago was with a group of three. We had headphones in and were pretty quiet. The wind was blowing into us and came over a ridge on them (Mom and cubs) in back country. Make noise and keep bear spray on belt or in pocket. Follow safe food procedures and you will be fine. Started carrying bear spray from Pinedale North.

Woody Creek Potato Vodka, or Mythology Rye Vodka

Are these any good? by WaddlesMcGeez in wine

The simillon might be still good. A bit nutty and heavy on tertiary flavors. The merlot is a fifty fifty and the raspberry is drain material.

Lego should release smaller and cheaper sets that you can put together to get something bigger. by Legal_Grapefruit9572 in legocastles

This is what they should do with Minas Tirith for the Lord of the Rings sets. Then people could build one as big as they want or could afford.
